  • Amazing. If these are from 1978, that means that this refrigeration system is now 46 years old. While that is really old and not very efficient, it sure provides the truth that this older equipment was much higher quality and really built to last.

After 46 years in the business…David you always amaze me on catching weird stuff…I wish I could have worked with you…good work Brother!
  • I'm assuming the evaporators from 1978 the difference in quality is unbelievable from to today
  • man, you were brave to even gauge up and operate that valve stem! if that was me, it would have sheared off and dumped the charge as I was cutting away insulation. 😳🤬

Wow, Now that was a cool refrigeration video ! Great Video !!! 1. i've never seen a rotolock that far gone ! Wow , that was incredible ! Had to be leaking but no bubbles ! amazing ! i'll bet the H-10 would have went off on that. i'm so glad u brought the iphone & not the go pro for this one. That close up with the i phone was an incredible shot ! the clarity was incredible ! 2. Nice find on the evap ! Fan blowing the wrong way. 😂 Too funny !!! 3. That compressor is 23 Years old Wow ! Getting up there in years ! ( 01E serial ) 2001. May. Manufacture date. i find when they get that old they are slow to temp &or sometimes just won't get to 35 quick enough & just build ice on coils. 4. Easy way to Remedy that is - Put that temperature sensor in the Evap. coil & Run coil temp ! No More Defrost clock needed either. Set 15 on the control. 24 Diff. Air Defrosts Every cycle. no more freeze ups. Primo Box temps ! & no more ice buildup. 5. Like u Say Box - That Box Should Have another evap at other End too. i'm suprised it's doing as well as it does.
  • Love the cardboard fan shroud supports 😂. Good video Dave .
  • It's amazing that they use steal their knowing that rots out stainless steel or copper or some kind of material that won't rust
