Cheetah trying to explain to the robot: “Mate, we should team up and take out that annoying screaming kid. You operate the gates, we’ll do the rest.”
-
"We're about to make history, let's record it in the worst phone possible!"
-
Those Cheetahs look more confused than anything. Usually when they attack their prey they go for the neck or throat to suffocate it. They were both looking at that robot like "Dude, this thing doesn't even have a head"
-
I love how they reacted exactly like a house cat does when you bring an unfamiliar creature into their home
-
Animals can sense fear and the cheetah realizes that this thing doesn’t fear it.
-
Invest millions in developing a robot, then: “let’s troll a cheetah!”
-
That dog showed no fear at all, nerves of steel.
-
From the cheetah perspective, this would be the equivalent to a horror movie scene. A headless creature with jerky unpredictable movements invading your space.
-
"It doesn't feel pity, remorse, or fear. It absolutely won't stop until you're dead" Kyle Reese - The Terminator (1984)
-
The scariest thing for them is that they can’t tell where it’s eyes or neck is.
-
It would be interesting to see the tests without kid noise.
-
The guy controlling the robot knows his thing. He mimics animal behavior.
-
Cheetahs were like, “I’m looking for the neck, but where’s the neck?”
-
For most of us it was a "a world's first" moment. For the cats, it was a "DaFuQ" moment 🤣😂
-
cheetah - "What kind of man-made sorcery is this"?!! call Gandalf ASAP
-
“Let’s tease the cheetahs with a robot, it’ll be funny.” Only in Australia is this ok.
-
The way the robot moved about and suddenly stood up was incredible.
-
It's really fascinating that they don't react to it like they would do to any creature. They understand that something is unnatural about it.
-
There's something insanely poetic about this. Beast meets machine.
-
Can't believe they've spent thousands of dollars to build that advanced robot using all the latest software and machinery but they don't have enough funds to film this without all the shaking and low resolution at times.
