I am not American and we often look across the border in shock. Having said I am impressed with Jenna's comments. She reminds us that politicians are human and they make huge personal sacrifices to do this work. We need to be kinder and honour those who stand for office.

I loved what she said about how we forgot that he is human. We are all humans and i think when we post awful things about Biden on social media people forget that you are talking about somebodies dad, father, grandfather, son, etc.

Very well said, Jenna. Unfortunately, because Trump and his cronies, this country will never be the same. As much as we'd all like it to be it never will. He's created a divide and a fracture that will never be repaired. Though I never voted for your father or grandfather, and didn't agree with them, I never felt like our democracy as a nation was at stake, or we as a nation were threatened in anyway. With Trump I do.

I don't agree with every policy decision that Biden made during his term but i have immense respect for him for understanding that this country needs a leader who has the charisma and the energy to be able to adequately perform the duties of the President which he recognizes he no longer has the ability to do.
