These documentaries bring me back to my young child self, loving to watch documentaries like this on history channel.
  • Beautiful history up until Titus, but the documentsry then jumps to the Palestine exploration fund while barely aknowledging the youngest Abrahamic religion or the people who lived (and live) in the area for 2000 years. Especially given the current geopolitical situation, this oversight means that the documentary fails to answer " Why has ... Jerusalem been fought over for centuries." I appreciate that the authors might not have wanted to include bait for trolls but theres almost 2000 years of relevant history missing from documentary. I trust this is in good faith but it could be seen as propagandistic. Whhen i saw the jump from Titus to Victoria, i couldnt help but picture Faysal's jaw dropping at his Cairo meeting with Allenby and Lawrence.

What are the odds that all 3 events happened in the same place? Sounds like no one is telling the truth

All three major religions of the World gather together at this exact local!! I find this as a message that PEACE among all people should be our priority!!

I’ve been to the Dome of the Rock. Beautiful building inside as well as out. The Rock looks like a huge black meteor. Maybe that’s why it was sacred.

So informative about the many great empires invasion in the holy land and how the remnants of chosen tribes still existing, this bring me to the convenant of God to His chosen ones. The ark of the covenant, the lost treasure of the ancient world where the commandment of God to Moses was kept is so interesting to learn. ♥️♥️♥️😊
  • 18 inches The cubit, generally taken as equal to 18 inches (457 mm), was based on the length of the arm from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger and was considered the equivalent of 6 palms or 2 spans. In some ancient cultures it was as long as 21 inches (531 mm). Cubit | Ancient, Length, Unit - Britannica
  • We teach our children to share .... If this place is a Holy place for both ... Then share .... That simple ... Figure out a way to share equally ... 😊 I'm terribly sad for both sides ... Both think their sides are right ... And everyone is too damn stubborn to drop their pride and come together for the greater good of their people ... Everybody wants to be the winner .. but at what cost ? Think about that for awhile ..... In the end I Hope it works out for everyone 💜

Tribe Judah had forsaken the Lord and were worshipping Baal at the time of the Babylonian invasion and captivity, just as the ten northern Israelite tribes had forsaken the one true God for the worship of Baal before their own earlier dispersion by the Assyrians. The remnants of the Benjiminites and Judahites taken into the 70 year Babylonian captivity therein adopted the 'traditions of the elders' (the Babylonian Talmud) and thereby came to be the world's first Jews. These newly caste Jews were the first people to practice their new Babylonian inspired Jewish religeon. It is important for our own deeper understanding to realise this fact.

Now how could Abraham be the first monotheist when after he arrived in Caanan he met the High Priest of the One True God?

Jerusalem is the eternal city, more so than Rome imo. I would argue that Constantinople is also ahead of Rome.

The opening statement is rough. You made it seem that the Muslims are innocent people in this story. But will still watch it to see where it goes.

Such a cool documentary. The best theory about the Ark i have heard is that the Knights Templare had it until 1000ad

This is missing a an important chunk of history from medieval times. What about the centuries of muslim rule, the crusades and the christian kingdom of Jerusalem?
