  • The transition of Double Life into Shoo Be Doo into Candy-O is an ultimate example of why albums were, and are so great. These songs work together to tell a sonic story. Yes, they are cool individually but together they become mind-blowing.
  • That smash cut into Candy-O is just as thrilling now as it was in 1979 when I first heard it. Classic
  • I don't care what anyone says , this music will never disappear . Music today fades away overnight and it sucks ! Just my opinion . The music from my generation hasn't gone anywhere , it's here to stay !!!!!
  • At 18 year's old in 1979 all i needed was some TASTY WAVE'S a cool BUZZ and my CAR'S 8 track tape .....life was GREAT !!!!!!
  • Anyone else remember when you could buy an album for only a few bucks and it was full of great music like this. Some albums were so great that EVERY song was excellent. This is one of the best imho.
  • Candy O is one of the best sophomore effort of all time. Their debut album gets all the credit deservedly but candy o is WAY overlooked
  • Rest in Peace Rick O, will enjoy your music for a lifetime...
  • Well if these ain’t my three favorite songs in a row I don’t know what is
  • One of the greatest and most underrated bands of all time.
  • One of the Most Underated Rock/New wave bands ever. And incredible Guitar from Elliot Easton the master of the bend riff!

  • In my corner of the world 1979 was the year of The Cars......everyone had their LPs and cassettes. I still have the LPs. 79 was an unforgettable year
  • Elliott Easton is super with the Cars! Under rated guitar player.
  • I used to blast this cassette when cruising on the highways.....I'm surprised I can still hear.  Music in my car was always loud.   :)
