ALSOO idk if anyone reads these (if you are, hi i hope you're doing well :D) this video took super long to make so sorry if the lighting is inconsistent (had to film over several different days). i just wanted to make a disclaimer and say that i couldn't GO IN on the depth or make fully rendered pieces like i would've wanted, as this video would've been way over 2 hours. so i tried to share the main points and features. pls be nice :')

Girl ibis paint users are gonna lecture you. Prayer for your sanity.
  • Someone said that Ibis Paint users are gonna lecture you and I am here to be one of them^^ 1) You can adjust the settings for the bucket tool for it to work correctly, please do keep that in mind. YOu can see that once you tap the bucket tool, there's a settings icon below it^^ 2) You can also adjust the sharpness of the edges and opacity of your brush WITHOUT going there manually ToT Please... just go the tap right corner and tap the one with the hands. You can adjust the stabilizer, sharpness of edges, etc. up there. Next. the opacity.. IT'S JUST BELOW YOUR SCREEN AS WELL AS THE SIZE- 3) Pronounciation... It's Eye-bis Paint :) Ok! good bye, have a great day:D
  • i know it’s hard to think this is a good review when there’s so many features you just don’t know about for all the programs
  • @Julienbug
10:32 That “weird color pallet” you’re talking about in the app Artbook those slots are actually used for picking a different brush and color, so you don’t forget which brushes or colors you used. Also If you wanted to change the color of the line you can click on the layer you drew the line art on and then you’ll see an “Alpha lock” option it’ll help you change the color real quick, just pick your color and scribble around the screen and when you’re done just click on the layer then alpha lock again. Hope this helps😭 If you’re confused lmk (I’m not really good at explaining things😭🙏
  • 4:02 fun fact: sometimes on ibis paint x, when u press the ad button it says 'we can't find an ad for you' and blah blah blah but then after you get the brushes for free for 18 hours so u don't have to watch an ad Edit: HOLD UP ITS BEEN A DAY HOW TF DID I GET 613 LIKES...can we get it to 1k? Edit 2: HOLY SIT....THANKS YALL FOR 1K THIS IS THE MOST LIKES IVE GOTTEN
  • *fun facts about ibis from an ibis-only artist: Comic feature, The lag isn’t actually that bad, even though they warn about it Good text feature Simple tutorial Barley have to use the buttons, there’s quick use features for most (3 fingers for redo, 2 for undo, etc) Good animation feature, though still in development

as a sketchbook user not only did you have your pen ON THE ERASERS AS YOU WERE LOOKING FOR THEM 😭 but theres also an option to turn whatever brush youre currently using INTO an eraser brush using the brush settings at the very bottom of the screen (clicking the little circle lookin thing)
  • @mrnothin368
The eraser for sketchbook was RIGHT THERE THERE WAS EVEN TWO TYPES OF THEM 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

9:51 ibis has animation as well :’) (definitely not a lil upset at the rating..)
  • As somebody that used to have Art Set, it definitely does let you alter things like brush sizes! Top left in the menu at 20:41 it says "size 10%", you drag that wheel to the right to increase it (and left to decrease).
  • I use Ibis paint and also I'm not sure if you thought you had to watch an ad for each brush but you don't got to! You just got to watch one ad an get all brushes! Edit: damn 70 likes that's the most likes I've ever had-

I used Adobe Fresco (as that's the only art app I can access) and I'm so glad it's being recognized! It's usually hard to find videos of people using the app. And it's quite amazing for a completely free app! (Except for a few paid features which basically are quite unnecessary) I don't like how pixel-y and thin the pixel brushes get but that might be my problem. And they do get REALLY low quality after liquify/transform. I love the vector brushes though!
  • As a user of Medibang I can tell you that the PC version is way better, especially with features and brushes
  • @roll2682
Ibis paint does a have pen pressure / stabilizer tool on the right corner in the hand icon , it also had the animation function.
  • Actually, as a sketchbook user, no it doesn't lag (at least not for me). There are actually a lot of eraser brushes in the brush library, and those of multiple textures
  • For Sketchbook, the Eraser tools are the ones that look like white plastic erasers. There is no general "Erase" tool as every tool can be set to be an Eraser if you tinker with the brush settings
