Thorough, well done and packed full of info. Thank you for making this! I followed your guide for my first time ever making sourdough and it turned out amazing. I’m working on the sliced bread and rolls now. Thank you!

I'm an older man that took up bread making a few years ago. Just in the past couple of weeks I made my first sourdough starter and first loaf. I was surprised at how well it turned out. I watch these videos regularly to Learn all I can. I have to say, this video of yours is the best I have watched ever. You explained everything so well and the video of step by step was perfect. Thank you very much. I also mill my own flour too. Peace be with you, shalom.

I appreciate your teaching method. You are calm and precise and you were easy to follow. I have been trying for three months to get sourdough bread right. I’ve tried different peoples methods and so far I like how you show everything you do and this is my first try with your video method and I wish I’d found you first. lol Thank you, may God truly continue to bless you and your family.
  • There are a lot of videos on how to make sourdough bread. I have found most hard to follow or just over complicated. Yours was great. You have a very calming voice, and you make steps very easy to follow along. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
  • @owamuhmza
You had me at “I don’t measure this portion at all” 👏👏👏
  • @lorehines190
So well done!!! I just learned a month ago how to make your starter! I’ve never baked bread before! I am 63 years old! Last week I made the dinner rolls beginner, sourdough boule and your sandwich bread! Followed all 3 to the letter! All 3 turned out so perfect!!!!
  • @johnshawngrubb4675
I cried tears of joy watching this after years of trying about every way out there. No mixer or kneading needed. All fermented and so soft for my hubby’s sandwiches and his fave rolls! Many many thanks. You have blessed this house!
  • @lori4072
Hi Elizabeth. Just wanted to thank you for this video. I used your seeded loaf recipe but used toasted walnuts and cranberries. It came out fantastic; the first loaf I have been completely happy with since I made my starter last May. I especially appreciate the simplicity of these recipes..no repeat folds. It was so easy! Thank you for all the time you put in to teach those like me who finally feel like I mastered a great loaf.😊

You have made a believer out of me again. I gave up my starter several years ago as I just wasn't using it. Just called my friend that I had given starter to 4 years ago and I'm picking up a little starter for myself so I can get going tomorrow. I know that store bought bread is unhealthy. I've always known that but so easy just to pick up a loaf. Sourdough is healthy and so good for our guts. Thank you for this video...
  • @abmermaid
Oh my gosh- THANK YOU!!! I had fallen in my face with sourdough bread so many times- until now- thank you!! This is the best tutorial out there! Subscribed and shared!!🥰
  • @RadiyatulMardiya
I’m a beginner in my sourdough journey and I’ve tried so many recipes… all subpar. But this crusty sourdough boule recipe has been the best. I’ve made it too many times to count and it’s been great everytime. I love how you’ve simplified the process. thank you for putting out this video!
  • Just got my first rye sourdough starter after many months of trying. I made rye bread and it was pretty good.

I feed my starter with this ratio: Sourdough Starter: 35g Slightly Warm Water: 140g All-purpose Flour: 140g I made my sourdough "starter" myself. It takes about a week to capture enough wild yeast in the air but then you are all set! • Thank you for the video! I am new to making sourdough and this is the first video that I have seen that you don’t need to manipulate the dough every hour. I just want to make sure that I didn’t miss something and that is not needed for this recipe. Thank you!!
  • That was a well thought out bread baking video, I really enjoyed it, and plan to use your techniques. Thank you. 🌻🙋🏻‍♀️🌻
