  • It’s funny to see how much more grown Miguel looks now in S5 while Robby still looks basically the same just with shorter hair
  • “You taught me that” that line definitely hit a nerve in Jonny.

I genuinely couldn’t imagine being in Johnny’s position in this moment. This must’ve been incredibly stressful for him having to support his students but also seeing his son get attacked with the same “No Mercy” ideology he taught them.
  • I don’t know why, but the way Miguel says “time?” is just hilarious to me
  • Neither of these kids has had it easy, but neither one understands the other. Miguel looks at Robby and sees a pretty boy who has never been bullied or has any idea what it's like to be him. Robby looks at Miguel and sees someone who is a bully just like his father was.

I love this fight , it shows how similar they are too each other and becoming like there sensei’s. Miguel is Legit Daniel and Johnny fused together into one Robby is if Johnny had the right teacher in this moment

it's funny how we're 5 seasons in now, and not once has "the strongest kick in Miyagi-Do" been brought up again.
  • I like how much their fighting styles have changed in season 5 but Miguel is still the offensive fighter while Robby will always be more defensive
  • Man the breathing before Robby enters back into the fight is so good. I know we've had four seasons since then, but I really feel like Robby peaked right there. He's centered, focused only on winning. There's no hatred, or anger, or consideration of his opponent as an enemy. He's only trying to use the best karate he can. Incredible.
  • Terry Silver would love to accept this version of Miguel to be his student. He fought dirty just what Silver wanted to win
  • @Thodorisz
When Robby kicked Miguel with 2 legs and he offered him his hand to get up and instead he hit him Hawk literally said YAHHHH
  • One fought like this was a real life combat scenario and one fought like it was a tournament with rules. That was always the difference.
  • @Neo-qo1fy
You really get shocked once you've realized that Robby with his backstory was more suited to be in Cobra Kai and Miguel with Miyagi Do
  • One of the things I really liked about this fight (and the first two seasons of Kobra Kai) that kinda got lost as the series went on, was that there wasnt really a bad guy. It was a fantastic character-driven show where everyone had flaws and you could root for anyone. In later seasons Kobra Kai just got more and more evil until it was eventually a pretty straightforward light vs dark show. Not sure if the final season will bring that around but short of "ah ha ha everyone hates each other again and jonny/daniel split up for a 4th time" I dont see that happening
  • the good thing in this fight is that robby when the match finished, he bowed to miguel showing him respect despite the fact miguel got the win cause he focused on his injured shoulder..
