Yep, sexism isn't dead. Hating men is alive and kicking.
  • @JBroMCMXCI
There are no actors these days, just narcissists who play themselves in different outfits.
  • As a gay man, I've always found people like Gatwa offensive. He's a caricature; he acts that way because it gets him attention, and some find it endearing. But most gay people are just normal, chill guys who don't constantly need to be the center of attention.

“Evil cannot create; only corrupt” the almighty Tolkien

I'm so done with everything. Everything I loved is being destroyed by all this woke crap.

The corporate “you’re not a true fan of [blank] if you don’t like the black version” is becoming a trope

Gatwa isn't a Gay character, he's a Queer actor. A raging queen who's entire identity is their sexuality. Thats not a character, that is a stereotype and one that RtD continues to write unironically. It is lazy writing which RTD should be mature enough to recognise is utterly counter productive as the vast majority of gay people hate queer caricatures being the only way they are portrayed on TV.
  • Attacking the fans for not liking their dogshit product is a perfect example of why woke Hollywood, the modern entertainment industry and the woke media are stuck in a death spiral.
  • He is a gay actor that only plays gay characters. So is basically just being himself, and is not so much an actor as he is a DEI caricature.

HUGE NOTE From the gay community. this is insulting to us too. its like a clown representing all str8 people. hollywood woksters arent us.
  • In 1963 my Dad and I sat on the couch and watched the very first episode of Dr Who. I was 6 years old and was in awe of what I watched,it became a ritual for us. This is totally unacceptable - you want to mess with things mess with them, but leave Dr Who alone. The whole point of the Dr is he is compassion, courage, innocence and wisdom rolled up in a neat package - in our fantasies he's saved us from Daleks, Cybermen, Silurians, The Master, Weeping Angels,Davros,The Silence,Zygons,Ice Warriors,Sontarans - there are so many I can't remember them all. I'm heartbroken at this tomfoolery - yet another beloved character has been dismantled and destroyed in the name of DEI and political correctness. The Beeb should be ashamed to let this happen,I'm going to go out and get every damn OLD episode on DVD there is and then never watch a new episode again. If every fan did that the whole thing will collapse but at least our precious memories of the Doctor won't be sullied.

"Don't watch!" Two episodes in: "Why is nobody watching our show?"
  • @SammyWhiteley
Captain Jack Harkness is one of my favorite characters in any piece of media. Doctor Who has never lacked "representation". Problem is the writing went to shit.
  • Peter Capaldi was the last Doctor. He got trapped in a Time Lord trap and never escaped. His dream of punching his way out of it over billions of years was, just that, a dream. The doctor is still in there, preserved forever. R.I.P.

Gay characters don't appeal to 90% of the population. We're sick of it.
  • @shykorustotora
"If you don't like it, leave" 5 minutes later "Oh sh**, where did everyone go?"
  • I remember when they cast Jodie as the first female doctor I said that the next Doctor will be a black man and most likely be gay. I got scolded online as a rasist and homophobic. Anyways, a few years later the Doctor is black and gay yet no one is scolding me for being correct. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As soon it was announced they made the deal with Disney+, that should have been the big red flag. They’re still gaslighting the fans into thinking Disney has no say in what’s going on.
