Right on jb. A man of your word. Think I'm going to go with the chevy. It looks more tougher.

Just purchased a chevy 2500hd ltz, gas, z71, 20" chrome wheels, multi tailgate, bedliner, tonneau, steps, beautiful white for 67k. Couldn't be happier

Great video. I didn't realize that 2500's don't automatically come with the Max Trailering Package as I figured it's a 2500 and they are built to tow and haul so that is interesting. Still very capable but figured it would be standard vs a 1500 it's an option and well worth it if you are towing and hauling in a 1/2 ton. Well, done and I'm old school and still like Chrome and the SLE for what is included as an all-around truck and standard options.

Great comparison videos. I have been building Chevy vs GMC trucks on their websites and have swayed towards Chevy for the amount of features for less money and I like the center console better. Have you thought about making videos on the build for different trim packages? I am contemplating LT vs LTZ at the moment and have made a list of additional options going with LTZ. One thing I picked up from your previous video was the BF Goodrich $295 tire upgrade, what a steal!

Team Chevy on this one! I’ve noticed that all the manufacturers select trims, packages, and options so that they never really directly compete with each other. It’s almost impossible to have the exact same equipment from one manufacturer to the other at a given trim level.

Compared both on build sites and in person at dealerships. Chose the Chevy LTZ Premium Z71 packages with all the additional bells like HUD, rearview camera mirror, bed liner, chrome running boards, etc for $4K off msrp. Liked the GMC grill, but preferred the fenders styling on Chevy.

The LT center console is what sold me on Chevy. It’s a big deal for me. The GMC SLE doesn’t offer it which is BS. I didn’t get the LT Z71 Sports appearance package as I plan to add the AEV bumpers and think the non-led grill looks more aggressive. I put in LED bulbs and switchbacks which look great. I’m also glad I stepped up to a 3500. Currently running 37s, 4 inch Cognito, and method wheels.

Hey, can you do a review on 2500/3500 with sport package on white with the long bed configuration, you did a review on one like that, but I’m having a hard time trying to find one like that
  • @s924920
Hell yeah. I just bought that white one a week ago! I really liked the z71 sport package. And I just didn’t really see the benefit going for the LTZ and paying 8k more for that package.(in this configuration). Lovin it!
  • @CZ-kz7ug
Just my opinion, but inner fender liners should be standard. Keeps the bed alot cleaner, and makes less noise with them.
  • It’s a small thing, but the location and ergonomics of the GM wireless charger are second to none…
  • @Zx10rand392
Well I don’t know if it’s me it’s the same truck. Got my spouse 24 2500hd LTZ midnight edition and it got the ATX4 HD 2500 traded it in for ZR2 same truck and cheaper
  • @lucasmancini7415
Idk 80k for a LT. Seems pretty expensive. For that amount better move to ltz or high country
  • @user-md6uk9yy3t
that msrp doesnt even include tax, that car is 90k ridiculous
  • Heard my name. I think GMC holds Chevy back typically. And then at the same time GMC is just overpriced when compared to Chevy. They up charge just about every paint option where Chevy doesn’t. And then in these two trucks take the leather and bucket seats away and the Chevy would be cheaper and still have more options. And then speaking specifically on GMC, they severely limit available options on the SLE and even the SLT to an extent (no HUD available) because of now having 3 “top trims”. Ford started all this and I’m personally not a fan.
