In this Dog Nation Episode, Andre and I make a home visit to help an army medic who is suffering from PTSD who must choose between his child and much needed service dog, Kona.

His wife doesn't feel safe with the kids at home with the dog.

Can I solve this problem and help this family?

3 mins in and the answer is clear, don't let the children mistreat the dog!
  • Youtube! Thank you for watching. Please let me know what you think of these episodes and what else you would like to see! Blessings!

It’s not the dog that needs training, it’s the people.
  • @Jaquableu
Rules boundaries and limitation count for children too.
  • I understand the training of the dog but the mother needs to keep her kids in check. Don’t hit, don’t pull the ears!!! Sometimes parents just don’t know how to discipline!
  • @Sushibunneh
Not sure why people don’t teach children boundaries with dogs, of course animals have their limits especially when kids get bigger and stronger.
  • @tugginalong
Levi needs to learn the word, “No” and that he isn’t the ruler of the household. That’s the parents fault but it’s not the end of the world. It can be easily corrected.

Poor sweet dog... I don't blame it... How would they like to have their ears or hair pulled? In the dogs case his tail.... They wouldn't like it either. So I am so GLAD that Cesar immediately knew that this child was not being taught boundaries.

Toddler should be taught not to sit on dog or pull his ears/tail. Parent should be training child not to do these things.
  • It gets my heckles up when I hear of any child pulling on a dogs ears and tail. Respect all animals, simple! Well done Cesar 👏👏👏👏
  • @lizziehan13
I was really hoping Cesar would mention what a TERRIBLE idea it is to let your kids into your dogs crate, especially when the dog is in it.

"Take a break from fear " Best quote if the year, Cesar.👍

Dog showing all the signs of “ please leave me alone “
  • @Danielbang818
You can totally see that kid is out of control and the dog isn’t the prblem 😂😂
  • @mefford67
That’s NOT an aggressive dog. That’s a fed up dog that is tired of being chewed on and stepped on. He’s very clearly and patiently warning both the parents and toddler. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • I love how they say "he's afraid of everything and everyone" and Cesar breaks in with "and so do you". It's always emotions going from both sides
  • Sorry Caesar, when you bring junior out, he steals the whole show. He’s gorgeous. You’re the best Caesar.

Always taught my 2 and half year old daughter how to respect dogs and how to be around them, and show her what our dogs behaviours mean/do. She always has respect for their space, she can play with them and command them with confidence and generally take the role as their alpha. She has the respect of and position over 2x 45kg german shepherd family members all due to being taught how to read, respect and deal with dogs. Wish other people would teach at such a young age, its a beautiful thing to see

"Service Dog" is not just a dog who does tasks, they need to have a good temperament and proper training. I'm glad Cesar was able to help.
