Pesto Shrimp Pasta Recipe 🍤

Ingredients:

Shrimp seasoning:
Shrimp - 6 - 10
Salt - pinch
Pepper - 1/4 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1/4 tbsp
Garlic powder - 1/2 tbsp

Pasta boiling:
Linguine - 1 or 2 servings
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp

Pasta prep:
Butter - 1 tbsp
Chopped garlic - 5 or 6 cloves
Chopped onion - 1/2 cup
Chilli flakes - 1/4 tbsp
Dry parsley - 1/4 tbsp
Oregano - 1/4 tbsp
Cherry tomatoes - 1 cup
Pesto sauce - 2 - 3 tbsp
Parmesan cheese - 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper

Process:
- In a pot, boil water and add olive oil and salt. Add linguine or any pasta. Cook (stirring frequently) until al dente.
- Drain and set aside pasta.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and add shrimp, salt, pepper, chili powder and garlic powder. Cook until shrimp turns pink.
- Flip shrimp half way and add 1 tbsp butter. Cook until 90%, remove shrimp and keep aside
- In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter, chopped fresh garlic and fry for a min. Then add chopped onion and cook until onions turn translucent.
- Add chili flakes, oregano, dry parsley, cherry tomatoes then cook for a minute
- Add boiled pasta and stir for a minute, then add pesto sauce. Mix well
- Add shrimp, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and cook for 2 more mins, then serve while hot
- Enjoy!
