Join me to learn about the history of Bandera, Texas, a small Hill Country town with some deep historic and cowboy roots. The town is known as the " Cowboy Capital of the World ". I will take you to historic spots as we tour the town and discuss why the town is called Bandera, what brought Polish settlers to this area, and see some beautiful old buildings made from the native rock, limestone.

  • Thank you to all the people of Bandera I met along the way. The town is beautiful, historic, and full of great people. A couple of additional stops if you go; 1) Town cemetery and 2) the Methodist church. Hope you enjoyed touring and learning about this amazing place.

    The Medina River is one of my favorite rivers in Texas.
  • When lived in North Richland Hills we had a Baptist pastor that preached for a while or something at Bandera.
