1 Cup red lentil, 2 cups water, 2 garlic cloves and cook the same way
3: Garlic Naan bread
1 Cup red lentil, 2 cups water, 2 garlic cloves, 1tsp mixed Indian spice, 1-2 tsp Nigella seeds and cook the same way
4: Pizza base
1 Cup red lentil, 2 cups water, 22g Pecorino cheese (flavour is optional, so more cheese if you prefer or other spices like oregano or basil or both)
use flan tray and cover with parchment paper to stop it sticking, pour almost all liquid in ( can use square tray if no flan tray and just cut round shape after it cooked and cooled) bake in oven for 25-30 minutes. 180c
5: Lentil crisps

  • Your flip technique at five minutes and 15 seconds in is phenomenal for beginners!!!
  • Fantastic. I'm vegan, gluten intolerant blah blah. I made the lentil mix and using the same techniques, used mung beans. Just as great. Waffle iron with plant based "cheese" aka "plastic cheese" for a warm healthy snack. Putting this content out there is a blessing to us, so many thanks to you.

The parchment paper circle cutting idea just blew my mind
  • Glad I found this. I don't have weight to lose but wanted to start eating less 'conventional' bread, these fit the bill and provide extra protein too.

Love these pancakes. I add some vegan cheese and spices let them cook and flip just to get the cheese complete melted, just a few seconds. Then fill with avocado, or sprouts, or cut up kale. Sooo yummy! Also do the last three table spoons with some cacao powder. When finish cooking splash some almond butter on, cut up some slices of banana, drizzle a bit honey and sprinkle some hemp-hearts, chia seed and ground flaxseed. Oh so yum! I have these lentils bread, pancakes what ever every day. No bread but lentils. Thanks for sharing this video will try your suggestions now.
