  • I'm Mex Am in San Antonio TX, USA. Many yrs ago a Mex Am woman coworker sat next to me in the lunch room with her lunch for the day—fried rice with tomato. I asked her who taught her how to make fried rice. She answered that it was her neighbor. I responded, 'she's Thai isn't she?" My coworker looked at me with wonder and said, "Yes. How did you know?" I answered that it was the tomato in the dish that was the give away.

I made this last night for some friends and they loved it ... even my best mate who is a typical meat and potatoes guy ... he ate the lot. Am going to do it later this week for some more adventurous friends and throw in a few prawns and other bits ... it's a great base recipe ... my taste buds are going wild with all the variations you could make, thank you again Marion 🥰🍷
