Thank you for the memories. I grew up on Wells Street in Old Town, when it was old town. When I learned to sew I went to Crate & Barrel and blew almost a months allowance on two glorious mostly blue yards of guess what fabric. Made a dress and proved to all of my friends, once and for all that I was indeed weird. So proud. Thank you as always

Fabric matters so much, in another one this would just be hanging. Those fabrics are comfortable but when it stands out from the body it's much breezier and more flattering on a bigger figure too.

Carla, you're like an anti-depressent without the nasty side effects! You make people happy with inspirational, infectious joy and creativity. Thank You β€ππ

They do size inclusive clothes but they are sold out in no time! I wanted that dress but they only ran out in my size π€£ it looks fabulous on you! I would have never thought to combine it with chartreuse but itβs divine, just like your gift with fashion! Honestly, your videos with your bright and cheerful attitude and your nuggets of knowledge and wisdom make my day, thank you!!! β€οΈ

I remember coveting their bed linens. Tabletop runners. At Crate and Barrel. Many, many moons ago, as I am 75 years young. π

Beautiful β€. Pink with red, ahhhh the happiest color combination π

I am a fashionista in spirit! I've always known that the right fabric is the bedrock of a garment! This one is breezy, and the pattern combined toake for the PURRFECT summer dress! And yes, it IS an outfit of art! For once, I'm convinced that one needs at least one giant bag in one's wardrobe πππ.... thank you, Carla

I live in Europe where it's much easier to get your hands on vintage Marimekko. Very grateful for that π€

Love the dress Carla! I voted for the chartreuse shoes. π

I love Marimekko! And I love your dress. When I was in college my mother bought me a Marimekko tablecloth and made me curtains to match from Marimekko sheets. I think I still have them packed away.

I never, ever wear orange - it looks meh on me - but I do have bright orange, patent leather sandals. They make grey and black linen all kinds of fun.
