  • Izzy please don't be worried about posting content that's "too boring" or "too obscure." You could literally post a video talking about the history of ketchup and I'd still get excited🤩
  • Finally, Izzy is throwing their phone again. Nature is healing 🙏
  • @PinkApocalypse
I'm 20 but wasn't allowed online unmonitored until i was 13-14, so these obscure internet videos make me feel really included in a time of the internet I'm sad I missed out on <3

Does anyone remember Zwinky? It was definitely that "edgy tween" demographic but with a paper doll sort of vibe, and I absolutely gave my public library malware by downloading it.
  • @Nooby.
We really need kids MMO and websites back. They’re trying to act grown up cause they don’t have anything we had like Club Penguin or animal jam.
  • It is completely possible that, if not for this video, SuperSecret may never have been mentioned again. So, by making videos like these, you are immortalizing these obscure MMOs. I think that's totally worth doing videos for them.
  • oh boy supersecret fills me with bittersweet nostalgia lol. i remember when it was a 2d game, the art style was so mystical and colourful, and the soundtracks were sooo good!! i loved collecting all the different hairstyles and outfits, and reading the characters' dialogues from quests and item's description was fun as a kid learning english lol. i was so sad when they 'turned' it into a 3d game. the magic was lost. 😥

Idk if this website counts as “obscure” but I think it kinda fits: Scratch the coding website for kids. I remember people using it to post art and stuff on there as well as games. There was also tons of drama like the 3.0 update, unnecessary bans and art theft. If you could do a video on it that would be great :)
  • I actually had a family member who worked on this game as an artist. I have NEVER met anyone irl who played it despite my sisters and I desperately trying to make it successful for his sake 😂 Genuinely it’s so insane to see someone else talk about it
  • The fact this game has a niche fanbase and extremely limited records of its existence is oddly fitting, given the name.
  • @Skarzar
As a Jumpstart World Girlie, I screamed seeing the ripped area assets and when you mentioned it lol. Despite the AGGRESSIVE microtransactions, I loved that game. The Dragons area especially, like you mentioned! Also, I'd like to come forward with a request. With all the talk on your channel about dead-in-the-water virtual worlds, has FaunaSphere ever crossed your mind? It was my favorite and was based on recycling as a gimmick. Insanely strange from memory, but a stand-out game in the deep recesses of my childhood.
  • this is so crazy. i remember playing the old super secret! i never bought a membership so i was only ever the maximum free age of 12. there was a mission that you did for a hair stylist and it unlocked a blue hairstyle which was a BIG DEAL because you couldnt get an non-naturally occuring hairstyles until your character was 13. it's so cool that you made a video about this. thank you for unlocking some memories!
  • Growing up as a midwestern American kid in a town of less than 2000 people, I can confirm that hanging out in the woods is just something teenagers do.

this content is NOT disinteresting, it’s important! all of these games, as crunchy and ridiculous as they are, are art. especially one day when even more internet history of these games go missing, these are important archives. i’m sure twenty years from now, phd students and video game nerds alike will only have content like this to have source material for most games, especially flash games! i’ve read about how many games will totally go forgotten because of the loss of flash, or obsolescence of other formats. this is important to a lot of people!!

SuperSecret was one of my favorite mmo's growing up. The aging up aspect felt REALLY rewarding, I was hooked for a year or so. I have a very vague memory of making a lot of friends and throwing a big party in my "room", it made me think I was a hot shot. Thankfully I grew out of ithe game before it transitioned to 3D, but I was still pretty upset about it when I found out.
  • @crownnugg1814
I swear Izzzy's videos take me back to the obscure things I played as a kid. Would absolutely kill for a video on UBFunkeys, Littlest Pet Shop Online (LPSO), and Bearville
  • 2:03 Izzy saying "fly high angel", yeeting it and covering smile is gold, always a vibe to see you be chaotically wholesome
  • Rest in peace Izzy's wooden wardrobe, it served us well. Fly high angel
  • As a kid I just remember being amazed how pretty the backgrounds were in the original game were. When jumpstart just turned it into teen Jumpstart Online (complete with reusing assets and entire areas) I was absolutely crushed.
  • I remember this game! I used to play it all the time, but wasn't able to get past age 12 bc I couldn't pay for it- but I still had a lot of fun designing and redesigning my character through different 'phases' of her life!
