Without question or dispute, the best Christian rock band ever..

This was a HUGE part of my youth experience and so thankful for these guys! The music touched a generation and my 4 sons got to experience it all as well! The best part is no matter what age you are , one day we will be all together in glory and singing to the one who more then deserves the glory!! Love you guys and THANK YOU!

Wow. I never grew up as a Christian so I had no idea of who Petra is. I found their channel just recently and I wish I had found them in my twenties. I am now 55 years old, but I am a child of God. Praise Him for His mercy and grace.

The best band of all time, Christian or secular. Spectacular musicianship, and UNCOMPROMISING lyrics. God is glorified.

53 yr old who grew up listening to you guys. What a blessing and thanks for your hard work. Best memory is my best friend and I camping out several summers in the backyard and listening to the More Power to Ya and Not of this World so much we wore out the tapes. Early 80's was special partly because of this band.

Petra has shown the love of God to me for over 40years, Beyond Belief on cassette was my first taste

Takes me back to my days I first committed my life to Jesus. Such a blessing to hear these songs.

John's voice is still fantastic. This band's music is legendary. These are great, First Love, Homeless Few, No Doubt, Love, and Prayer, and Hand on my Heart were always some of my favorites.

Thank you PETRA to all of you and to everyone who ever had a part in making PETRA possible. Your music has been a guiding light to my soul for my entire adult life. There is not a single song of yours that I am not familiar with and I still listen to them daily. I never get tired of listening to them. God really did anoint you guys to play his music and for that we were all blessed. Being in the same age group as most of you, I count myself so fortunate to have experienced the entire lifespan of the original band called PETRA. I do, however, firmly believe that the music produced by PETRA will carry on long after all of us are gone. I have No Doubt about that. God Bless PETRA and long live their music. Praise The Lord.

I still remember well, a day 36 years ago when I first heard John Schlitt's voice on "Back To The Streets".

When I was younger (much younger) this was just really cool music. Now that I have a few more years and miles on my life, it means much much more. Praise Jesus, they're still singing.

And now I'm crying again. I am enduring dramatic life changes and having a difficult time. Every day is a struggle, each moment is a battle to keep from crying. Thank you for giving me some tears of comfort. The music of Petra, carrying the message of God's love in Jesus Christ, has brought me through awful moments. Congratulations on fifty years! God bless you all.
