Realistic Fluid Simulations

This is just a compilation of some of my favourite fluid simulations, including some smoke, through creative commons videos I have found on YouTube.

Most were made in RealFlow, although some were made in Blender. Some of the RealFlow ones were simply visualised with OpenGL, while others were rendered with variety of renderers like Maxwell Render.

Songs are "Dub Zap" and "Trancer" by Gunnar Olsen.

I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (youtube.com/editor)

That water at 6:44 is perfect. I want that even if it's a small scale. Gotta have.

Step 1: Buy a fucking monster PC Edit: I've not tried other softwares, but I did this on Blender and to get this level of detail on my computer (a 4 years old laptop) it would takes hours just to bake the animation. Rendering would take a lot more.

I think it will take forever to render it for my tiny classical laptop... Great.

The first one is what happens after taco bell.

Wow, the ocean-like simulation at 4:33 is amazing!

Can it run Crysis 3? Can it run a Fluid Simulator?

I seriosuly thought 0:27 was live action for a second there.

The two very realistic looking simulations with sea waves were stunning. Love it!

Better to make 1 nice simulation... rather than 30 mediocre ones... not hating... just my 2 cents. 6:44 the ocean shader is not bad.

Oh my gosh the water physics and everything looks so good!
