You're so kind to your pets, feeding them and worrying about them ~ and so good to your friends, too! I always enjoy your walks, Norm! Hearing you tell my story was very sweet to me. It makes me appreciate it all the more, the love my Grandma had for the Lord and the value of a loving family who cared enough to teach me how precious Jesus is in our lives. It was my mom that rode with my great-grandfather over the mountain into Virgina. She was just a little kid at the time. She is 86 now and still going pretty strong ~ God bless her, cooking meals for my dad, mowing the yard and other yardwork, and still getting out to church on Sundays when they both feel like they can make it. They will celebrate 70 years of marriage Dec 31. My dad joined the Air Force, so they got married and off they went to SC from KY. A big change for a couple of youngins!
