Stumbled upon Sadie on YouTube a few years back, and have been a fan ever since. Quibble all you want about the details, but she's got something special going. I wish her a long, enduring presence in live music.

I love the original but most people could not do justice to it. This just blows me away.

Best remake of the Clapton original I've ever heard. Has a real live presence missing from Layla. Sure, there are hiccups, but that makes this live version even more emotionally sincere to the spirit of the original. Great job Sadie and Bart! It's like you're sitting in the mid-section front row seats. I suspect a studio version would be even more commanding and overwhelming.

I had no idea who Sadie Johnson or Bart Walker were. I just happened to check out this little Blues fest near my hometown. I didn't have any big expectations. Just wanted to visit with some friends. These two had my undivided within two minutes of starting to play! They were so good.
