    Quang brother. The kroueng aka lemongrass paste is essential in our Cambodian dishes. It’s super simple to make if you don’t have a mortar and pestle . Just need lemongrass, garlic, lime leaf, turmeric (fresh or powder) , galangal and/or shallots. If you’re using a blender just add a teeny bit of water. I promise you that the marinade will taste even better rather than roughly chopped lemongrass and yellow curry paste . Also, don’t forget to trying to make a side pickle . It’ll compliment the beef sticks so well . Love your channel and happy eating ❤

    To make krueng - pound lemon grass with a mortar and pestle, add in galangal, kaffir lime leaves, some shallots, garlic, tumeric and a tiny bit of salt. This will make a paste marinade.
