I just went through all your vids..wow. What an awesome way to see the country, and the beauty it offers to anyone willing to open their eyes and heart to see it. I would absolutely love to do some riding like that. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to do so, but I am damn sure going to do some hiking and camping before I am to darned old to do it, Thank you for sharing your journeys with us!

Oh my God! I would likely throw up on such a trail. No one can say you're not alive, Gillian.

I just hiked this with my daughter... We wondered how anyone could actually do it on a horse... Thanks for the proof.
  • Gillian your Horses are very well trained as you must be a very good rider to take your horse through a beautiful and dangerous Goat Rocks. I live 1 1/2 hours away , sorry you didn't have a clear day.. Their are riders hat won't take their stock through. A lady a few years ago lost her 2 horses falling 300 ft with all her gear, had to scramble down to get her phone to call 911. I am glad you made it and twice at that..

I wish you hadn't turned the camera away at :40 seconds. I would have given anything to see the rest of your ride through that sliver across the ridge. Can you post that? Thank you.

I am starting to research doing a thru-ride of the entire PCT. Did you just do sections, or did you ride the entire thing?
