  • that pitch shohei threw to end the tournament was absolutely perfect. 3-2 slider that swerved away from trout's bat and painted the outside edge of the zone. we are so lucky to be able to watch him do what he was meant to do.

    extremely well-deserved championship for samurai japan. most fundamentally sound team in this competition while dominating all areas of the game. I think it goes without saying that ohtani is the most impressive athlete of this generation, his pregame speech last night gave me chills! i'm already looking forward to a potential 2026 rematch. おめでとう :)
