love the way that spiral zero keeps team spiral's ideology when it comes to tuning

Blindly chasing power can create unwanted handicaps, you always need total balance.

A throttle controller is pricey for the subtle difference it makes, but that subtle difference makes all the difference. In older cars, the throttle was controlled via a mechanical linkage actuated by a cable attached directly to the accelerator pedal; for NA engines, this meant a nice, linear response to throttle input. However much pedal you give, that's how much throttle movement you get. In modern cars, the throttle is drive-by-wire, which allows the ECU to take over and reduce throttle for the sake of Traction Control, as well as in the event of severe engine malfunction (limp mode). One of the sneaky things this also allows is non-linear throttle input, i.e. 50% pedal down could be only 40% throttle, and there could even be a slight delay in the time it takes for the throttle to open to the requested position. This is done partly for fuel economy, partly for emissions, and partly for a smoother driving experience. In an NA car especially this can make the throttle response feel rather sluggish, especially in a manual car where response is crucial for rev-matching downshifts. It makes it feel like it has a really heavy flywheel. A Throttle Controller, such as the Banks Pedal Monster I put into my car, alters the signal from the accelerator pedal position sensor to get rid of the dip in throttle input, all the way to adding a considerable bump (think 50% pedal gets 75% throttle). At "City" settings (just above stock with a true 1:1 input-output) it's a lot more natural feeling to drive on the street and easier to rev-match shifts both up and down.

Sounds like the mantra of MINES engineering

What ost was used at the end of the video? I've looked around the soundfiles and I can't seem to find it..

"super efficient braking"...sounds like a novel concept. upping rotor size is nice good for absorbing heat but adds considerably mass at the wheel. ok, yes, the mass is concentrated toward the center, so it minimizes force to make it spin, but you still have extra unsprung weight to deal with....these shows crack me up with super technical jargon......

    今夜の新しいMFGHOSTビデオ。カナタとレンのエモい映像となっております。
  • 蛇足だけど、6podのキャリパー入れてる車にスロコン付けてないってちょっと変だと思っちゃた、、、
