Geez 128⁰F? That's way too hot for everyone to handle. Even animals as well. Who the hell can survive 128⁰F

My dad uncle and there construction crew put down black top in death valley back in the late 60s the temperature was 130 + degrees with the asphalt temperature of 200 degrees they were the only construction crew who could get the job done and the only crew who stepped up at the time think it was through yeager construction or Riverside construction

There's a reason they named it Death Valley. Riding it in July is just not a good idea. Knowing it's going to be that hot, you need to have a couple of GALLONS of cold water ready to drink. I work outside in Mobile, Alabama. 95 and up. Heat index around 111. I drink over a gallon in 9 hours. If my intake is insufficient by noon, I get muscle cramps. That let's me know I'm not drinking enough to replace what I'm sweating out. On a day like that, it's a better idea to just cancel your ride. That's as nasty as a heat condition can get pretty much. Bad news man. Sorry to hear about it.

"Hmm yes today I will go to Death Valley completely exposed to the heatwave that I am aware is ongoing."

I've visited DV several times, but never in summer. Go after late Sept or Oct.

The Thrilla in Manila was fought in 128° heat between Ali and Frazier for 14 brutal rounds. Think about how tough both those Champions were to endure such!

I'm going to wear my leathers and a full face helmet and ride through the Death Valley in July!

It always freaks me out that people dont stay home when it is that hot. If asphalt melts than rubber will melt too. And no shade anywhere.
