Israeli forces retrieved the remains of five Israelis, including four soldiers killed during the October 7 attack, from the Gaza Strip. While Maya Goren was murdered in captivity, while the soldiers were killed in combat on 7 October and their bodies then abducted, as per the Israeli military. The recovery of the bodies came days after the military launched a new assault on Khan Younis after pulling out troops from the city in April. Meanwhile, an IDF reservist who filmed and circulated a video showing the recovery of the bodies of five hostages has been jailed for 10 days and out from the army. Iran hit out at the US government and Congress for welcoming the Israeli prime minister amid the deadly war in Gaza.

    I’ve had Palestinian friends, since I’m not Muslim they told me I couldn’t come over but we can all go out and have fun. When their hatred of anything Jewish came out, it was like duo personality filled with rage. When you’re taught hate at a young age, it’s in your heart and blood and very hard to expiate at that point. I hope a day comes when the hate starts to dissipate. There are great things in both people’s, Jews and Arabs. I do know that Hamas leaders live very well and that makes me think.
