  • @CSHarvey
Auto ownership is an optional luxury in the EU, but a functional necessity in the US. Apples and oranges.
  • There was never a concern about battery life in modern EVs, tabloid coverage aside, but it's nice that CATL is demonstrating more of this kind of great longevity with their 2 million KM battery announcement.
  • If your budget does not allow you to get a new car, then you shouldn’t buy one
  • @bbalila
Bro EU has good Public subway , Cheep airlines & High speed Rails , so don’t need many cars like USA. EU has walkable cities, Same in Japan & China Fast trains & Good subways.
  • @rp9674
    Paying off hackers is despicable
  • My 2013 Tesla Model S has 182,000 miles on the original pads and rotors. They technology already exist if you drive an electric car they rarely use the brakes. And it’s also one original battery too and I still get 220 miles of range.
  • Regards CATL battery warranty - MG has just announced a life time warranty for its batteries, motors and other major electrical components in Thailand and intends to roll that out world wide. Going to be interesting to see how that plays out.
  • In my town, billboards scream "CREDITO FACIL!" You think that's a problem?
  • It's funny. After US unions negotiated deals with the big three, I stated that I was glad that they got paid but that the auto market wasn't going to hold up due to the cost of new vehicles. Of course, everyone berated me for saying that, and now delinquencies and repossessions have steadily increased since then. I would suggest you look at how many days of onhand inventory dealers have of most Ford, GM, and Stallantis full-size trucks and SUVs because i've seen numbers as high as 200. People are living paycheck to paycheck, and all those companies who have been jacking up prices simply because they can are now laying employees off in startling numbers.
  • The ad “Michigan leading the charge” hehe. That’s silly. Tesla in Texas is leading the charge, with no credit given.
  • The Cybertruck tailgate pad probably isn't for protecting the tailgate but for protecting the bikes
  • Warranties are not an indication of product life, but it's still interesting that we're already seeing some of the lesser known Korean EV brands offer impressive warranties on their EVs to differentiate themselves. KGM for example: "electric Torres comes with a 1 million-km (621,371-mile) battery warranty"

The Cybertruck padded tail gate is so the truck stainless steel doesn't damage your fancy bike (usually made out of carbon fiber or alloy).
  • I think as the years go buy the US market will shrink as well. There are growing movements of people not interested in cars and wanting public transportation. Younger people especially do not have the finances to afford cars new or used. Even a reliable car is expensive to maintain. I know many people whose lives are ruined or on pause because they can't afford a car, as theirs bit the dust or parents never could afford to get them one. Cant get a job without a car in many areas. Some people are in situations where they can go without a car or license. And more young people are doing so. The US car makret is down from its all time high of 17 million cars sold. Automakers are DESPERATE to raise prices and make the ownerhsip experience as miserable as possible. Its not all surprising or far fetched that even rougher times are in store for them
  • Speaking about Cadillac, I heard that the EV Lyric is the second best selling Cadillac model. Apparently Cadillac buyers aren't scared of EVs.
  • My vehicle has a great bike protector, her name is Sweetie, she is an 81 pound bull/boxer.
  • @europria
You have great content, I follow since podcast days more than 10 years ago, it doesn't bother me but if you want to attract more people, to signal more professional production you can improve sound quality abd lighting and background.
  • The Cadillac SUV looks great with it's new refresh. China helped all of it's EV creators to stay in business, why are we USA not eager to keep Fisker and other EV players in the market? They see the importance of the future not today's stock prices.
  • "Glory to God alone" on the disc @9:53. What is the percentage comparison between Euro and US new car repossessions?
