My son has a brain stem injury, he's only 2 years old, who knows where this technology will be by the time he is 20. I cant express how much hope this video gives me and the friends we have met in the past year with kids in similar situations.

My big take from this video, is how much the people in the room appreciate having a boss that understands them. It is very rare when you work at this level to have the ability to discuss what you are doing and the boss actually understand what you are saying.

I love that these 5 ain’t suited up corporate bigwigs. These are just 5 casual very talented nerds highly motivated to solve the impossible. Go Neuralink team 👏🏻

I'm tetra, I never let my disability get in my way C4/5 complete, it's what I can do not what I cannot. but hats off to these guys they sound very passionate, way to go, and also a father of a 17-year-old daughter I love life 32 years in a wheelchair.

I like when Elon complements his employees in their accomplishments which counters the negative narratives that Elon takes all the engineering credit for other’s work.

From what I’ve heard I cannot think of a single reason why this won’t result in an SAO level game within 20 years. It reads his brain to see what muscles he want to move, there’s nothing stopping them from taking those inputs and plugging them into a VR game, letting him move his body in VR. And he can’t move his real body so he’ll have a full range of motion, he just won’t be able to experience physical sensation from the game. And they don’t have to worry about him moving his head so they can make it a full 180 degree monitor that covers your entire vision because you’re moving your head in game with your thoughts instead of via motion tracking a headset. I never thought we’d be this close within my lifetime.

Elon was very comfortable in this discussion, no sign of awkwardness. I really enjoyed this discussion and the attendee's.
