Henry Cavill about James Bond

He has the two things needed to be a Bond: every woman wants to be with him. Every man wants to be him

He's the next James Bond for me. This man was born to be a bond. He didn't get that role for being young but now he's at perfect age & matured enough to be the agent.

How rare is it to have an actor who looks quite literally perfect for a role, is the right age, has the acting skill, is the right nationality, has the right physique? There should have been a sequel to The Man From Uncle, he deserved another go at Napoleon Solo but Bond would be just brilliant for him. And all of us.

If anyone would take James Bond to a higher level than what we've seen so far, it would be this man right here, Henry Cavill.

After "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", that man deserves to be Bond.

After reading all the comments, I think we're all in agreement Henry needs to be the next Bond.

This guy is literally born for Bond. First he is an insanely versatile and talented actor always dedicated to the character he portrays, he has insane charisma, perfect phyisique, he is british (obv), he is great with action (Mission Impossible perfect example) I could see him actually being the best Bond if given the chance.

Every role Henry plays makes his own be it Superman or Geralt. He was bloody good in "the man from U.N.C.L.E" and can't wait to see him again as Bond.

Henry as Bond with Tom as Q would be deadly.

It would be a crime if Henry was never a Bond…This man is so talented, and has so much to offer as an actor. I’d love to see him become a modern Sean Connery, he has the stuff to do it.

I seriously haven't watched any of the latest Bond movies but if Henry got the role I'd actually go see it. He's just made for it.

My mother is 88 years old. Sharp mind but her body gave up on her and now she is on a wheelchair. She was always a movie freak and especially a James Bond one, starting with Dr. No back in 1960. She told me if Henry Cavill takes the role, not only she will ignore Corona but she will walk again and go to a theatre in order to watch him.

Henry Cavill has James Bond written all over his face, even his voice.

Now in this haircut and the look he absolutely deserves to be James Bond

This guy is humble down to earth genuinely nice guy..he is the embodiment of everything good about the Brits..am rooting for him to be the next Bond

Casting is a skill: whoever cast Christopher Reeves as Superman deserves a lifetime achievement award; Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Indiana Jones; Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley; Emma Watson as Hermione Granger. Likewise, Henry Cavill should be cast as James Bond and people should be allowed to celebrate his masculinity. Let the women drool, let the men go to the gym in a vain failed attempt to look like him. The guy was born to play James Bond as Reeves was Superman. Casting is a skill, not a political statement. Oh, and write more characters to sell to more people - there's clearly an untapped market for this.

Henry would be the most perfect bond if he lost some muscle. He fits every feature from Ian Fleming's books. He had the physique in Immortals (2011). He's tall, he's got blue eyes, he's got "short hair, a comma of which rests on his forehead" Anyone who's watched The Man From U.N.C.L.E and MI: Fallout knows he can be charming AND cold/intimidating. He's my top pick for Bond right now and I hope they cast him. Another reason is that he's very reminiscent of Timothy Dalton and Dalton is still my favourite bond.(Followed only by Craig)

I HATE when this kind of things happen. Just because you are not famous enough they don't give you the chance to prove yourself. And this happens everywhere and not only to actors, even at jobs, schools, talent shows etc. I HATE IT SO VERY MUCH.

He will revive the Bond franchise if he takes the role. We all have to say it loud enough.
