So you're telling me the kid who was born riding the best equipment and never wanted for anything is good at riding? 🤯 inspirational.

People talk about his talent, speed, and bike skill a lot but I don't see enough people acknowledge what really sets him apart from the competition... the mental side. Watching this kid for the past 10 years, one thing I noticed right away is that he has an unprecedented will to win and to be the best, he's been that way from the start. He has this insane drive in him, he decided at a young age that he wanted to be an MX/SX champion one day and since then he has done everything necessary to achieve that goal and put everything else second. There were times in his amateur career where he moved up and ran into older/faster guys, and every single time that happened he went to work and it didn't take long for him to gain what he needed to not only reach that level but surpass it. So far, his pro career is going the same way. Jett is an amazing rider, super talented and technically sound, and not saying Jett isn't super tough and dedicated all these guys are at this level, but Haiden has something rare. Reminds me a lot of Ricky Carmicheal, maybe not the most naturally talented or athletic, maybe doesn't have the best technique, but they are willing to push themselves harder than everyone else not just on the track but when it comes to training as well. No one would've ever said Ricky was a better or faster rider than James, but Ricky won every title that he and James both finished. Never underestimate the mental aspect, everyone can only twist the throttle back so far, when a battle begins it's all about who is willing to hold it the longest

James Stewart loves this kid……How can you not?! He has so much determination & style…..he will throw it completely sideways when he gets a holeshot on the opening lap 😅……not many do this……maybe Barcia lol😂…….he is sending it huge, when he doesn’t necessarily need too……He just makes the 250 Class so incredibly interesting……I mean to drop 10 seconds in the second moto on a very rough track like that……tells you all you need to know 👊🏾✊🏾🤨

Been a fan of the Deegans for a while but I doubt anyone felt humiliated. As far as his age, he was raised in the sport.
