Friday Night Funkin' VS SONIC.EXE 2.5 / 3.0 FULL WEEK (CANCELLED BUILD) (FNF Mod/Majin/Encore/Tails)

It's almost been a year since the original first released. The 2.0 build was really good, and now it ends here with a cancelled build. At least it'll be a mod to be remembered for the history books of FNF mods, along now with those new songs & especially that classic Triple Trouble song.

i feel bad for those who painfully endured not getting spoiled by the hundreds of leaks to have the full experience spoiler free just to know that the mod was cancelled

the love letter that this mod was and it's journey from start to finish will set a precedent for the rest of the fnf community that will never be topped. rest well, team

Honestly, they could've ended the mod at the 2.0 update and I would've been perfectly content. That update basically raised the bar for all FNF mods to aspire to. And I'll always be greatful for that.

It's a bummer that this is cancelled,but I'm glad they are having a break. All thanks to leak builds. We will miss you dearly sonic exe mod

2.0 was already enough of a milestone. But even if the 3.0 version was left unfinished, this is still pretty impressive.

Fun Fact: At 26:50 you can see furnace flying below sonic, which is probably how they get in front of sonic to kill them.

It's a shame it got cancelled, but I'm happy the devs get a break from this, the mod was gonna be a TON of work, this is one of my top 5 favorite mods.

So sad to see that this mod was cancelled. It's the first FNF mod I've followed from start to finish, and seeing it do nothing but improve and raise the bar in every single aspect was so cool to see. On top of that, the amount of references to Sonic media from both the official games and Sonic fan media alike was always so fun to look into and learn about. I was introduced to so many cool characters, stories, and games. What an amazing mod this was. Sending love to the team involved and people like you who shared it in the first place.

I don't know how to feel about this. The mod is fantastic, every version stepped up the quality, in its music and art every single second of it is just fun, but I can't stand the fact that all of these amazing mods get cancelled, if the devs need a break please god let them have the longest break possible because the amount of content shown here is astounding. I just wish the combination of leaks from the community and the all around toxicity didn't end this mod along with others To the developers, coders, voice actors, animators, producers and testers thank you for changing everything about this community one pixel, one note, one beep at a time. If this project one day gets picked up again, I hope they do it and take as much time as they need. Don't let the community decide when your mod is perfect, when your mod is done, let that decision be decided by you. I worked with a team once and it was the most fun I've ever had, but communication with your community and with your team is the most important thing, especially with burnout. Once again thanks for everything that you brought to this community, and even if they won't read this I hope whoever reads this can get my overall message across to others who deserve it

As someone who was a friend of one of the developers, it’s sad to see this Update be cancelled. Would have been an amazing Update. By the looks of it there was so much more content supposed to be added, and with just this unfinished version it’s already showing. My respect for all the people involved in this.

As a person who doesn't really like the FNF community i still come back for creations like this the only problem is the leakers so really every good FNF mod is being ruined meaning i can't see them at their fullest

I'm loving the NeedleMouse reference and the effort going into making all the artwork as close to the original as they could while also getting creative with the background

I really want to see what the full version would look like. But I get that the devs need a break for the amount of effort they put into this mod.

I remember being so sad when this was cancelled, I almost cried. This mod brings back good memories (the update that remastered all the songs I remember playing it during class hours and being funny) I moved country so making new friends was very difficult for me. I remember that on the first day of school I attended, I drew Sonic exe and bf on the last page of my notebook.This led to a strange chain reaction that made me have friends out of nowhere and I remember that in 2022 I was in love with Lord X and Majin Sonic. All I did was talk about vs Sonic exe and that for some reason gave me friends and even a girlfriend.Even that Christmas of 2022 I received a Sonic exe plush that I love with my life. Thank you very much Sonic exe, thank you for your mod, everything is beautiful and beautiful.
