He could just use puppy dog eyes and then the sith would be like "aww, it's just a rabbit and cat hybrid" force chokes them
  • So, instead of heading back to the Jedi academy and fetching a few kids, he decided to sleep untill some of them happened to come by! that is one very lazy cat!

Can you imagine if he was a general in the clone wars? Think about it, clone troopers taking orders from a cat.

I'm trying to imagine a quadrupedal animal with no opposable digits using a Lightsaber.

Do you guys want us to do a similar video like this on the Hutt Jedi?
  • I find Ikrit a very interesting Star Wars character who should be more popular. Just one question, WHY DIDNT IKRIT HO BACK TO THE TEMPLE AND GET A PADAWAN INSTEAD OF HIBERNATING?!?!?!?!
  • @ethan5354
How would Ikrit wield a lightsaber? I mean, he doesn't exactly have opposable thumbs

People complain about this being ridiculous, but it really isn't when you think about it. It is actually more realistic than almost every single sentient species being humanoid in appearance. The old EU introduced some creative designs, and before you complain about how they would have done "goldfish jedi" next, think about the many species that are just humanoid animals. Karkarodon are shark humans, Harch are spider humans, Mon Calamari are fish humans, Zygerians are cat humans, Wookiees are bigfoots.

We are going to start putting closed captions on all of our videos from now on. This is the first video we have tested this on, so let us know if you guys find any major mistakes with the captions. Also let us know if you guys like having captions on or not!

Trooper: What are your orders General? Ikrit: Set off the diversion lazer pointers and roll the yarn balls. This'll distract the Sith from our attack!

Ikrit is adorable. I don't get the hate, is it a written rule that Star Wars can't be cute? I like the expanded universe, it's very different from both sets of movies. The Vong are really cool and I like all the politics. I love that they have a jedi as adorable as this. However with quadruped jedi it can sometimes get a little awkward whenever lightsabers are brought into the picture. However they could manipulate them through the force or maybe just use them as symbols only. They could make this into a very intriguing story. Maybe Ikrit was really mocked and laughed at during his training and because of his cuteness was often treated like a pet by the other padawans.

I wish so much we could have seen Master Ikrit in the animated Star Wars series of Clone Wars or Rebels It's not just his appearance as a fluffy looking creature, it's his backstory, his character, and his bond with his student Anakin Solo Ikrit was among the few exceptions to the rule of only permitting Force-sensitive children into the Order; he was already a young adult among his people, a simple weaver actually, and like them he found the idea of becoming a Jedi to be laughable, but he still accepted Yoda's offer to train in the Jedi ways He forsook the use of lightsabers not just because he accidentally almost killed a friend but because he got into a petty argument with this friend that Yoda had to risk his life when he intervened to stop Ikrit from crossing a line he couldn't come back from. He was so ashamed of what he'd almost doen and for the reasons why that he stopped using lightsabers altogether His final farewell to his pupil, Anakin Solo, was truly beautiful - "Death comes to call, you cannot hold water in your hands for long, it leaks away, goes where it's meant to go. To the soil, to the sky. To ions then space, where stars are born."
