So excited Season 2 is here! Thank you all for watching. My goal with this episode was to show you a different side of Jamie Dimon. Yes, there are some must-ask questions about the state of the global economy, AI, etc. but we also talked about family, childhood and how he does it all.“Sometimes I feel like I’m just riding the bronco and hanging on for dear life.” Would love to hear what you think.
  • the interview starting with a guest asking questions explains why he is The Man

One of the best interviews I’ve seen. People often ask Jamie the same questions or it’s always just too formal, but this briefly brought out a funnier side of him. Enjoyed it, thanks!

Jamie Dimon's advice to his 20-year-old self is something we can all benefit from. He emphasizes the importance of working hard but also working smart. It's essential to think carefully and not waste time on tasks that won't bring you closer to your goals. He also stresses the significance of taking care of your mind, body, and spirit. When we prioritize our overall well-being, we're better equipped to handle the challenges that come our way. Dimon's words are a reminder that we can achieve all that we set our minds to, but we may not be able to do it all at once.
  • we need more of these interviews of CEO's to dive into their thought processes and learn from it

I enjoyed the small talk in the beginning
  • What a lesson this interview was, I took away so many interesting points to study through his argument.
  • I love this original. Just fantastic work by Bloomberg. Aside from listening to all of what Jamie Dimon can teach us, the editing, the music, the space, the colors, everything makes it even better.
  • “I wish that it tells you that you’re crazy”😂😂😂
  • Emily! You're back and as great as ever! Absolutely love your knowledge glow and how you interview! Miss you on the network. Keep killing it.

19:54 "Sometimes democracy is messy, but it allows change." I enjoyed this interview and learning how he thinks and his thought processes. Great conversation.
  • Another round of applause for you, Emily and the team. Thanks for putting together this awesome intellectual and entertaining feast. Looking forward to the rest of this season’s episodes.

The immense depth of the Greek civilization, Mediterranean charm and the ambition and dynamism of the US, an amazing combination in one amazing person!
  • Emily, terrific interview. I worked for Jamie briefly when he was at Citi, before he was ousted by Sandy, and he is a tremendous banker. You handled the interview very well. Congratulations on the 4 kids of your own!

I am a part time trader and he literally said everything about trading without even mention A trading. Love the interview. Great job.
