  • I’m looking forward to seeing how well this works in the field, especially in those iron patches you get around the old camps
  • Just got my manticore and came across your video. With out a doubt the best instructional video I have found. I am a little long in the tooth so appreciate the time you have taken to explain the settings. I am mainly chasing gold and now swing a 6000 but some of the places we go have small shards of metal that take up time and effort so was hoping to use the Manticore to detect these spots.Time will tell. Thanks once again.Barry from Australia.
  • I shouldn’t of waited so long. I was on the waiting list for the Nox 800 when it first came out and I should’ve been on the waiting list for the manticore, but I gave it a year. Tried to buy one on eBay, but narrowly escaped a scammer. Patiently waiting for one coming in for me on Monday. I appreciate your videos I have a year of catching up.
  • Very nicely done, I like the way you previously recorded the event and just used the computer to continue.

Superb and very informative. I'll certainly be following you on here.

Well done. Now I just need the machine delivered. Liked and subscribed. Keep the vids coming.
  • Excellent video. Easy to understand with great video and explanations. Thank you.🙂
  • Thanks for the video, new viewer here. I recently did a Video on the Manticore when it was brought and presented at Myers Metal Detecting here in Tampa Florida. It has been one of my most watched videos, and folks are excited about it, but almost every question was the same. Has Minelab fixed the water intrusion problem with the Equinoxes. I own both an 800 and a 600. The SECOND time my 800 got water in it (while detecting in the Gulf with the Control pod in less than 2 feet of water) was during the height of COVID and Minelab repair could give me no timetable for it's return due to the supply chain issues. So, I needed a machine and figuring I didn't need the little extra features of the 800, I got a great deal on a new 600 (and heard they had less water issues than the 800) 2nd time in the water with the 600, it leaked and when I disassembled it to return it, noticed a crack in a coil ear, which they to send in with the Control pod. So...no one is questioning Minelab's tech, just their build quality. It LOOKS like they've actually listened to their customers, with the improved shafts and cam locks, the new design for the coil head, putting a light in, a lit button area and a beefier control pod. IF they've got the water intrusion issue fixed with the Manticore I think they've got a big seller. And now that they're coming out with updated Equinoxes, I am considering a 900. Thanks! Take note! When trying to apply the screen protector, no matter how careful I was cleaning the screen beforehand, I kept getting large bubbles appear which would not squeeze out. So, I scrapped the first one, (I had 5 too). I got some paper tissue, put a tiny bit of washing up liquid on it then wet it. I also had a dry sheet too. I thoroughly cleaned the screen, then carefully dried it with the dry sheet, being careful not to rub too hard, then again wiped it with a microfibre. Then carefully applied the second screen protector. This time, hardly any bubbles at all, what there was were just tiny ones which I was able to gently push to the edge of the protector with the edge of my fingernail. SO LEARN BY MY MISTAKE. Top Priority WASH THE SCREEN FIRST!!! This was one thing I worried about, cocking the protector up.. Thanks for the video mate, subbed!
  • @nocker_tech
This is a very cool detector! I go with him too! Good luck!))
  • Lol....."bottom crack. giggle"🤣 I'm 56 in a couple of months and giggled too. All joking aside ..Great video. Thank you for sharing.😌 I do have another question (just asked another one about that huge gold chunk you found). I have been trying to figure out which metal detector and pointer, ear phone, diggers, etc., etc., etc. It's taking me longer than most people have been in the 'field' detecting as (to me) spending 1500+ (to now 2000+) on everything I need to enjoy this 'hobby' is a BIG $ decision but one I know I'll make (eventually 😏) I was just about to get the Equinox 800...like today.🙄....when I read about the 900. Then approximately 20 minutes later the Manticore. I 'reside' in Florida but about 9 months ago I drove to (and still am) in California for my work. Heading back to Fl in a few weeks is the rumor.🙄 8 want to ask you because you have (and without a doubt always will😌) MUCH greater knowledge about ALL of this than * donor ever will. My questions are: 1.Which one is better? Equinox 900 or Manticore? 2 Does the 900 have ANYTHING worth 'noting' that the Manticore does not? 3. As far as a pinpointer I was (also JUST about to get the Pro-find 35 until I read and watched videos about the Fisher F-pulse. One video showed LOTS of interference when the Pro-find was used with the 900. Another showed changing the channels will solve this. Which one do you suggest? Lots of questions and if you don't answer them all I do get it...lol But if you do...Thank you VERY much for your time and knowledge and sharing both.☺️ VERY Sincerely, Michael
  • Nice, informative video. Thanks. I liked and subscribed. Can’t wait to get my Manticore delivered so I can try it ou.
  • @grumpyjim8449
Really enjoyed your very informative video and looking forward to seeing some more of them. Thanks for all the tips.
  • Good tips there. If you have an air blower, the type you use to manually blow dust of your camera lenses then this is great to use a few seconds before you apply the protection screen.
  • I just got mine in the mail today . Omg what a difference from the nox800 . I used it for 10 minutes in my yard and it goes crazy . I need to Lear how to tone it down on the Fe
