I hope this doesn't come off as insulting, but I like how you seemingly take a very complex game design topic and narrow it down into an easily digestible, natural presentation with a sprinkle of humor.

'i'm about two campfires away from reading hatchet again' the writing in these is so entertaining, Jake. thanks a lot for your awesome content

I'm a simple man, I see NakeyJakey upload. I hit like and pet my dog.
  • @godzelda123
I would make a Zelda pun, but I don't wanna Tri and force it.

94.5 hours? Boy, with the switch, you can rack up 250 hours of the zoldar scrolls on the bus. No joke.
  • @athanagames
Oh OK so YOU are the one guy who got this game on the Wii U and not the Switch.
  • i'm so used to hearing the letter "R" in words that don't have it, that words that do have it are beginning to screw with me thanks man
  • @Gewitt
“I’m about 2 campfires away from reading Hatchet again.” This man is so keen to the shared experiences of our glorious generation.

I wish I could wipe my memory and play Breath Of The Wild for the first time again. Nothing can ever compare to the absolute wonder of a first playthrough.
  • @elijah9755
never watched an analytical video that I actually felt engaged in before, until now
  • @averyw396
I love that the gameplay can be so deep and complex anytime I watch a video of someone else play I'm like "I've never seen that before!" "I never would have thought about that!"
  • Dang it Jakey stop making such great content. Makes the other parts of my day outside of these 9 minutes and 49 seconds feel empty of hot boys and gamer girls. Dog bless.

Excellent video man, laughed out loud multiple times. Also, DAMN! That subscriber count! So glad to see you finally start to seriously gain subs. I know you probably get this a lot, but, I've been subbed ever since your friend posted one of your videos on Reddit. I remember being frustrated because you weren't getting the recognition you deserve, it seems things have started to pick up for you and I wish you best of luck Jake.

That story with the "dabbed" part...you are sick...I was laughing my ass off for the first 3 times watching that part so I had to watch it 4 times to get the full story. You are fucking killing me, brah. If I had the extra money I would buy you a new car just for this video.
  • @nekocookiee
I can’t wait to see him talk about Tears of the Kingdom. I was late in getting BotW just due to not being able to save enough for a Switch, but finally with the money from my first serious job I had enough to buy a switch and this game. It sounds silly but getting this game was a goal of mine for awhile. I had wanted it since seeing the trailers and this sounds extremely silly but I cried when I came home from work and saw my brother had unpacked my switch to charge it for me so I could play it with full battery when I got home.

Jakey, ik I've probably tugged your hot boy wii more than enough in the comments. But your videos make me so god damn happy. Came for the Marth the movie when you had just under 25k subs about 4, maybe 5 months ago, and my god, I never left xD. Sorry about the car breaking down, but hope you were here in CO during this creepily warm march days, and got some sunshine. Until next time space cowboy.

I feel like Zelda is secretly an Immersive Sim like Deus Ex, Thief and Dishonored. They don't really limit your abilities and your skills but give you a set of tools for you to solve problems. Calling up a doppelganger and chain her with enemies in Dishonored 2, shooting wooden ropes to hide on the ceiling in Thief, etc. These games really push you to explore, not only physically, but also mentally, to create new ways to reach your goals. I love them with a passion.
