I have 3 dogs and 9 cats. If they all learned to use these buttons, I fear they will never shut up. LOL.

They need to make a murder mystery where the dog witnessed the murder and tries to tell the homicide detective with those buttons.

I love how Stella wants to say things that don't necessarily lead her people to actions, such as the water bye. She sometimes just wants to communicate for the sake of expressing herself. That's what is really special.
  • He presents training in 7 days. Each of 7 items are commands that he believes a dog should know. They are presented in part ii of the book youtube.com/post/UgkxK8-VQWpYThx4IC6MiIvb6VS1ebTzz… . The parts of the guideare divided: part i know your dog part ii the seven commands part iii cures for 7 behavior problems. Each chapter presents a topic, a dog's story, and a "what to do". It was written simply and you can jump from chapter to chapter to review anything as needed.
  • Imagine how happy the dog was when she realized that she found a human smart enough to communicate with 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • Some of the best conversations I’ve ever had was with my dog. Sadly it will be a year since he passed and I still miss him more than words can communicate…
  • You know she is talking because she is not just pushing buttons side-by-side, she pushes a button and then looks forgoes exactly for the next button even if it is on the oposite side of the board. And after pushing she looks at her mother and waits for an answer. This is actually very impressive.

This kinda makes me wonder how many genuine, mundane wishes dogs and other pets have every day, and they just deal with not getting it because they have no way to communicate it. Like the blanket one.
  • I saw the one with the dog named Bunny who told her human that there was a "stranger" "paw". When the owner looked in her paw, there was indeed something there needed to be taken out

I am curious if it would be possible to have multiple (at least two) animals to learn this in the same household and see, if at a certain point they start to speak to each other and visibly understand, that would be insane :D
  • There’s also an amazing talking cat named Billie. She uses the same button method. She is a hilarious cat and her personality comes through even more with her verbal communication. She even talks about her feelings. 😻💬

there's even a talkign cat using the same system. there's an increasing number of owners teaching their animals how to communicate. this is fascinating
  • If my dog had those buttons he would just push “treat” over and over and over until it ran out of battery or I threw the button out the window
  • My dog absolutely tells us what she wants… she probably has 50 +/- “words” via actions, vocals, even facial expressions/looks. You just have to pay attention

Ive always believed that there's a hell of lot more going with animal intelligence and communication than our own arrogance will allow us to recognize and understand.

The end was the most fascinating part. I thought everything on the board was action verbs or nouns. But the word when is a somewhat complex idea. She understands time and the idea of the future.
  • So great that she started this movement. I'm just using a few buttons with my cat, but it's so fun and I think so enriching for her and the other cats and dogs that are into it. I find it so interesting that in multi-pet households, that only one or some of them get into the buttons.
  • WOW!!!!! How special and amazing! Especially that Stella tells Christina "I love you." That just touches my heart on a new level! Bravo, Stella and Christina!
