We Raced Liberty Chevelle Vs. The OBS Truck! Sick Week Day 5!

I took my son to day 5 after I got off work. We got there just in time to see Derek run his last pass. We later found him in the pits and although he was obviously hot and tired, he took the time to take a pic with my son and Jessica gave him a used spark plug out of the truck. Thank you Derek and Jessica! It meant a lot to my son and even more to me.

Derek, I am one of the people you are talking about in the beginning of your video. I used to love to race and do all kinds of things. I had an accident years ago and after years of physical therapy, I can walk well enough to get a gallon of milk from the store but not more than that. Anything more than that, and I need my wheelchair. I simply cannot go on a race week like that as much fun as it sounds. It just isn't possible. With my spinal injury, I will never drag race ever again. I appreciate the work you put into these because I get to experience this with you and relive some of that glory of ripping down the track, g forces throwing you back. All that to say, thank you Derek.

I’m a stay-at-home dad retired Vet married to an active duty Soldier. When my wife travels I’m just SHUT DOWN in my house with the kids. Can’t take 3 kids under the age of 8 to basically anything by myself and be able to have fun. Thank you guys so much for sharing your vacation with me!!

I would give anything to do sick week with my wife and 11 year old son but we both work 6 days 50 hours a week just to stay afloat and there not exactly the highest paying jobs due to bad decisions made in life 🤣Being able to come along with you and all the other content creators helps a feller not feel so left out!
