How To Catch a Liar! Learn Expert Lie Detection/ Body Language Reading!

Hi spidey. I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for this channel. I have what was formerly known as asperger's syndrome. Basically I have a lot of social anxiety because I can't pick up social cues and misinterpret tones in speech. But through watching your videos and you explaining concepts multiple times, I think I'm beginning to understand what to look for. And I'm hoping to go back to school to get a degree in social work to be a high school mental health counselor so I'm excited to see how this will help. On the topic of interviews though, besides asking small questions first, could you give any suggestions on how to make someone more comfortable? Thank you for your time.

Amber is going to be famous forever,her video's on the stand are going to be used at colleges at lawschools, studies about mental dissorders and lie detection studies can all learn from her,and because of her people are more aware of men being abused and falsely accused of something. So thank you amber for teaching the world .

The last clip where she literally admits she tipped of TMZ and realized she fucked up has always been hilarious to me.

It’s kind of funny how Amber has become the poster child for how to spot a liar.

“I use a bruise kit…not a bruise kit…I call it a bruise kit.” Lol! She can’t keep her lies straight!

I work in customer service and I have noticed that when I say "thank you for your patience," I get much better results than when I say "sorry for your wait." Now I know why!

I love that Amber Heards lying is becoming so useful and helpful in teaching us. Also, I think Chase Hughes said that Ambers baseline is contempt.

I love the quote: “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” Your tips and examples show us how we can see and hear the tangled web.

The way she corrected herself after she had said something. The tension in her shoulders. The inhale that she took mid-sentence. The pretense of the wounded person. She is so used to lying since she was a child that any person without discernment would fall for her tale of woe.

Amber Heard is a great example for this. I remember Chase also saying he is going to use her testimony in his classes to show deception clusters. I picked up on eye flutters, mouth blocking multiple times (TMZ 😱) and expressions clicking from one to the other like switching channels. I picked up on a few of them! Did no one call out the fact when she was explaining the "bruise kit" she talked about putting foundation on first ("obviously"?) THEN concealer? THEN color correct? If you are not a makeup wearer you might not realize that is exactly backwards. Just started vid so hopefully this is talked about. Excited to watch your analysis as usual, Spidey!!

I’m a medical doctor and when you got to the lip licking behavior it actually reminded me that many of these facial behaviors (particularly lip licking) can be involved in focal seizures. Not a neurologist but very interesting to see the stress of lying showing similar behaviors as focal areas of the brain going haywire during a seizure. Enjoying the research + content!

It makes sense when Amber said the trial was the hardest thing she’s been through. Her deceptive mind was in overdrive and exposed to the world.

I still have friends that try to defend Amber Heard. I send them your videos and they refuse to watch them. People just do not like having their reality challenged. Nor do they want to admit that their opinion might be wrong.

Spidey THANK YOU for posting this clip about the covering of the bruises. She is explaining the process how to CREATE them. Not COVER them, and that drove me crazy no one was pointing that part out.

Amber's massive mouth block fail cracks me up every time I watch it. She slapped her mouth so quickly and so hard that it made a "POP!" sound, just like a kid would do. Damn, she's a bad liar! 😂

There were so many in that first clip I lost track! Blink rate, long stares, a big swallow, shoulder shrug, deliberate speech, broken speech, pauses, head shaking, like she's shaking away a thought...many happening altogether.
