One interesting thing that history teaches us is that mighty empires are almost never toppled by their enemies. They nearly always destroy themselves from within.
  • @FaithAndMystery
Faith plays a crucial role in shaping cultures and societies. It influences traditions, moral values, social norms, and laws. Different faiths have led to the creation of diverse cultural practices and rituals around the world.

This channel has a way small following considering the quality of the content. Especially the videos on Mary Magdalene and Pontius Pilate were beautiful.
  • so the original and first personj to study these in 2000 years suddenly dies leaving no notes...coincidences do not exist in all of creation

Dozens of ancient McDonald's Happy Meals were found scattereed throughout the caves. Still with not even a hint of decay to the burgers or fries

same fears taking place today, with digital life rabbit holes, family and personal preservation, as we engage slowly into what is actually happening in society today. while not wanting our hearts and souls to be undermined
  • @Cos.....
I would be happy if they released all the information from the scrolls to the public or make it accessible to look at I want to look at it with my own eyes and read it
  • Is it me or was the last hour or so of this just replaying things already said? I feel like I heard a bunch of stuff repeated word for word over the last hour
  • Dr. Bearman is a good old-fashioned dyed-in-the-wool nerd 🤓....we need more people like him in today's gotta-be-cool, hyper-sensitive world....the lady at the computer has a great old-school nerd vibe as well 👍
  • we are lucky to live in a time where the internet, the camera, and large crowd sourcing data points co exist to eliminate fact from rumor and provide factual concrete proof to any modern theory. The fact that we can prove we are indeed orbiting around a star on a rock that spins in a vast amount stars and galaxies, changing day to night, winter to summer, is something people of the past desperately worked on to give us these answers. I often take for granted how often I can just google something and find real factual answers backed with visual proof.
  • I remember as a child in the early 1960s hearing a lot of false assumptions about these. One of the principle was the text were early versions of the Christian bible. A lot of disappointment, and relief, when the lack of early Christian connection was shown.

My friends dad does a bunch of work for the scrolls, I'm not sure what all he does or has done but he has written several books and articles. He's a great guy! I dunno why I got recommended this but it made me think of him and his wife, and of course my friend. 😂

That computer is older than the scrolls
  • I just watched a 1936 documentary on sharecroppers. The things that stuck out to me and I didn't see any of it until the early 1960's. The uninsulated board houses. Water pump in the yard. Out houses down a little path just past the garden gates. Pot belly stoves for heat. Rust wire on decapitated mattresses. I guess it just amazed me when I saw they were still living in 1936 conditions in 1965. My nephew looked at these videos a says the conditions were just as bad in the late 1980's

I think the caves were cells for deep monastic study. If they were just emergency storage, they would not have to be so large.

Pray for your enemy. Not that it will do much good for them but that you release the hate and anger from your heart. Practice turning the other cheek. Practice patients. Obey the Ten Commandments. They are the harmonic balancer for equality for all of Heavenly Father's children. The Ten Commandments are the governor for responsibility and actions. If everyone obeyed these precepts there would be no more problems. Love Heavenly Father with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Heavenly Father is love. Jesus showed us that love. Love is the answer. LOVE!!!💞 The Truth when you find it, maybe the wisdom to rise above it. Never stop learning. Until you know what Heavenly Father knows, you still have room to grow. People fail for their lack of knowledge. Be wise as the serpent and gentle as the dove.🕊️
