Remember to restart your computer Open Command Prompt with Administrator privileges: Right-click on the Start button, then select "Windows Terminal (Admin)" or "Command Prompt (Admin)" from the menu. 1. Run the following command to scan and repair system files: sfc /scannow This command will check for and attempt to repair any corrupted system files that might be causing the USB disconnecting issue. 2. If the issue persists, you can try resetting the USB ports with the following commands: net stop usbstor net start usbstor This will stop and restart the USB storage service, which may help resolve the problem. 3. Additionally, you can reset all the USB controllers on your system using these commands: set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 devmgmt.msc The Device Manager will open. In the Device Manager window, go to "View" and select "Show hidden devices." Then, expand the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section and uninstall any grayed-out USB controllers. These are ghost devices from previously connected USB devices. Right-click on each of them and select "Uninstall device." After uninstalling the ghost devices, restart your computer. *******Here are some more steps you can try Open the command prompt again with admin privileges 1. After trying for so long and really looking for solutions, even if I find new methods, nothing works.. Mouse keeps disconnecting in games and won't work until I reconnect it manually..

I've been struggeling with this for over a year now and it keeps happening. I've upgraded my computor to try and fix it. But this didn't work. I tried different keyboards, headsets, mice, you name it. Didn't work. I tried using a different power outlet in my home which also didn't work. But when I plugged it in at a mates home to let him experience the problem, nothing happend, even after pushing my pc to its limit. As soon as I plugged it back in at home, it started disconnecting and reconnecting my headset again... I really don't know what it could be after pretty much getting a new pc and letting it get checked out by multiple people.

I just started having this problem as soon as i put in this HyoerX Quadcast S mivlcrophone. Jt eouldnt install the updstes so i tried doing it a differrnt way so i could use the stupid rub control program hyperx uses and now all my usb things keep shutting on and off. I hope this helps. I'm going to try it right now, but i fear its not going to fix the issue.
