So you are basically looking for a salvage flood car without any engine or interior and other damage. You should check out a dealer near you, because a new car is what you are looking for.
-
Be careful starting flood cars as you really should pull the spark plugs out before you crank the engine. Even if water gets inside you can pull the spark plugs out and get the water out and drain the oil most of the time you can save the engine. If you try to start them with the water in the engine you run the risk of bending a rod.

It’s amazing how open Copart is to free advertising but as a used car dealer that buys lots of units will not let me view more than 3 with and escort. And forget about a sublot never getting into there. Let’s also not forget that when you purchase a offsite unit it’s a nightmare.

Such a great video. You guys are so humorous and very informative with each cars and details.

Once the water gets into control modules and wiring it is game over. I worked for Mercedes as a tech, I've seen flood cars and repairing them is very expensive and NOT WORTH IT. This is the reason why they are totaled by the insurance. However, buying a car like this for parts or heavy modifications, then I can certainly see the point.

Imagine the tears shedded from all of the owners who lost these cars

I am a rebuilder too, the mold on the z06 seat doesn't mean it got that high. I had a new civic get a couple of inches on the floorboards and by the time they looked at it 2 weeks later, the interior was full of surface mold. Never judge a book by the cover.

To get the frunk open on the Porsche, open driver side door, look under the dashboard to the left and open fuse panel. You will see a red plastic cover among the fuses. Pull that red lever back and connect the positive clamp from your jump box. Then connect the negative to door hinge. Hit the frunk button and your good to go.

Don’t worry the range rover electronics is how the car comes out the factory 🤣
-
That Evo would have been cool too see on the channel. Love all the super car stuff but it’d be fun to see some alternative stuff here and there like the old days.
-
The corvette was probably hydro locked, now will have bent rods. Perfect !
-
I would definitely check the oil on cars before starting them . You will kill the bearings fast if they are milk shakes
-
On the Blue Supercharger Camaro, most batteries for drag cars like that would be located in the trunk, I’ve worked with drag cars before, On the Chevelle hood, I have heard from multiple people that you can open it by pulling a lever behind the bumper but it depends on the year
-
You out here starting flooded cars as if that wouldn’t make them worse and questioning why stuff malfunctions after😂😂 cracks me up man good vid💪🏽
-
A lot of times at these and any vehicle auctions, some shady characters will pull a wire or do something to make a car run rough or not start at all just so they can get it cheap.
-
There's a huge difference between water damage and saltwater damage.
-
Actually with the 987 and 997 Porsches they have a tab in the drivers footwell fusebox for you to hook 12v to which powers the hood and trunk release for these flat battery situations
-
The Evo 10 was my personal favorite. And being a 2015, that was the FINAL year the Evo was made. I definitely would have gave it a bid lol. Would have been cool to see on the channel! You two need more JDM cars in the mix lol
-
so hard to believe the owners of the cars would leave them to get flooded. my mustang would be the first thing to be moved to higher ground at any sign of an oncoming flood

We had a guy whose SLS AMG got flooded in that storm. His insurance totaled the car but he bought it back and had us replace the engine and a couple control units and he ended up making about $10k out of the whole deal.
