“No amount of security is worth the suffering of a mediocre life chained to a routine that has killed your dreams.” ~ Maya Mendoza
  • “To live is to suffer. To survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.” -Nietzsche

To suffer but remain noble is the hallmark of righteousness.
  • “ I asked for strength… And god gave me suffering! My prayers were answered “

When you have nothing but your health and mind you realize how important they are in order to have everything else

The timing of these i swear, just when i feel like i have sunk into the abyss! Invaluable content!
  • I was once told to "Go into my suffering. Welcome my suffering. Greet it as if it's an old friend, because infact it is." Suffering is your friend.
  • People talking about timely occurrence of this video in the comments just proves that there’s always someone going through some rough times. I wish you all great endurance ✊ I wish you all to come out of whatever dark hole you’ve found yourselves in.

It's easy to forget, when reading Nietzsche, in how much pain he truly was throughout his life. Imagine being afflicted with migraines so intense they cause temporary blindness. Knowing that when you're feeling good, that's when you need to get your writing done, before another migraine attack makes it impossible. This is why he was able to write so much in such a short time; he was acutely aware of his limited time.
  • Man I’m in the midst of the worst phase of my life and this video just made me cry. It gives me hope. Thank you for making this video 🙏

This is why I like prolonged fasting, after enduring a week or more of not eating, food tastes better than I can remember, I feel renewed somehow, like sipping from the fountain of youth. It was a 2 week fast that put my nasal polyps into complete remission, of which I have suffered with for 10 years, last year being the worst, total blockage and no sense of smell, now I can smell again, now I feel alive again.

"We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy. When we talk about settling the world’s problems, we’re barking up the wrong tree. The world is perfect. It’s a mess. It has always been a mess. We are not going to change it." - Joseph Campbell
  • This is why I’ve been so weak. I had it all too easy for just about my whole life. I’ve never gone through some of the stuff most everyone around me has been through. I’ve never even been punched in the face before. Now I’m 23, still live with my parents, and don’t have enough life skills, but I know I’ll get there soon enough

I’ve always found these lines morbidly inspiring from him: “To those human beings who are of any concern to me I wish suffering, desolation, sickness, ill-treatment, indignities—I wish that they should not remain unfamiliar with profound self-contempt, the torture of self-mistrust, the wretchedness of the vanquished: I have no pity for them, because I wish them the only thing that can prove today whether one is worth anything or not—that one endures.” My guy is just wishing I suffer so I have the opportunity to overcome it and grow stronger. Ya son of a bitch [Edit] Disclaimer: Unlike Neech, I do not wish suffering on any of you. That line above was in his unpublished notes so even he hesitated to say that out loud. I wish everyone peace, prosperity, good fortune. But when you do come across unavoidable suffering in your life, I hope you find the strength to bear it and move forward.

Thank you for your enormous contribution towards a sane narrative.
  • suffering promotes strength and character. However, suffering for a long period of time produces depression and self doubt.

Believe me, whilst suffering makes you grow, it does not promote health. I’ve been disabled for two years. Yeah it’s a journey. Intense pain that you couldn’t believe. But it doesn’t make you healthier. What’s being confused with is hardship, comfort and suffering, Hardship is fine. But most westerners in their comfort consider hardship suffering. You don’t know true suffering. Most westerners don’t suffer until they’re very very old, and their bodies start breaking down. But most westerners are like children. Hardship doesn’t make you grow. Only suffering does. Suffering changes you. You are metaphysically different..
