Massive tune for todays Definitely Monday. One of Oasis’ most recognisable songs and a 90s Britpop classic as well! Famously the bands debut single Supersonic was written in a day when the label asked Noel for a single, the version you hear on the album was meant to be the demo and cost the band £100 to make. Supersonic" reached number 31 on the UK Singles Chart, number two on the UK Independent Singles Chart, as well as becoming Oasis' first single to chart in the US. Noel wrote the song in he claims half an hour while on a recording break. Hope you are all enjoying these!
