This is part 2 of playing DCS. Sorry that it took so long to make, I was working on another project too during my free time. If you stick around let me know you enjoyed with a like.

  • The P-51 is easy. Now try the Mosquito. The top War Thunder Aces can't even take off or land in DCS. They end up going back to War Thunder and PAC Man.

always love to see wt players trying dcs, from my experience it is overwhelming but worth it after some time

Get yourself a headtracker and the flaming cliffs modules and you'll never wanna go back to WT

I would strongly recommend Chuck's Guides for DCS aircraft. They are pdf guides that give a lot of information about everything having to do with the aircraft, and since they are pdfs you can keep them on a phone or tablet while in sim.

This shit was funny asf bro keep it up. cant wait to see how u fly the su 25
  • Heck yeah. DCS is so damn satisfying when things finally click and make sense. I haven't tried any of the WW2 craft with weapons yet, just the TF-51 that comes free, but I bet it's so exciting to play multiplayer with them and get kills. I've been playing DCS for 8 months now and it's still one of the only game sI have been playing since I started.

I just got into DCS and even with the tutorial guiding me, it took me like 45 min to get the F-16 started and taxiing. I have since found faster ways, but yeah, buckle up for the full fidelity modules. Also, love the penguins clips spliced in. Good stuff.

If you try any jet, I recommend the F18. You can do everything in a single plane. I can do the startup in that within 2 mins. Also the Su25 does not have a clickable cockpit, so it’s more like war tinder.

I’m also a War Thunder player going to DCS and I gotta say, flying the phantom is some of the most fun I have had in a plane game and would highly recommend it. Keep it up!

I'm a ace combat player. When I finally get this game, probably take me awhile to get the plane off the ground😂😂

Once I get a capable pc I am getting this game the feeling when you get everything right must be amazing
  • Pretty rewarding, huh? Everything in the cockpit functions like in real life, you can immerse yourself in how this beautiful warbird works. Just standard operation it is a challenge in itself, and then you haven't done any fighting yet. This is why I love DCS. Keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it.
  • LAlt+C gets rid of the cockpit clicker and lets you use the mouse for looking around. Then LAlt+C will enable it again. Also if you have DCS on standalone you can trial different aircraft and maps for 2 weeks then again after 6 months for each one you try. And you can trial more than one thing at a time.

If WT would make it harder to takeoff and land (like actually having to do 3 point touchdowns with close to stall speed) - It would help WT players with DCS alot. In DCS the Modules on Realistic Settings are all having their own tactic to take off and land. And that is also not simulated in WT. Not to mention Engine Management etc. It is like going from driving a Tesla to racing in a Dodge Viper. And you need a lot of time to train this in every WW-2 Module because they are all very different. And then comes realistic settings in multiplayer without autoheadtracking a enemy. Then you need to buy a HOTAS and at least Track-IR and get used to it. So many hurdles that it is almost a shame when people like that try something like DCS. Mostly a waste of their time and the same count's for people trying to help them getting into it! You need to be hardcore to get over this, and most WT players are Shooter People with no patience. I don't want to blame Shooter Fans, just that they have to understand that they enter a totally different enviroment with DCS. It is like climbing a mountain of pain to reach satisfaction. And for the most of them - This is not worth it!

Putting your flaps down after landing only increases the camber of the wing giving you more lift and less of a braking coefficient, significantly extending your ground roll

I used a hat switch for view for about a year after getting into DCS. Used a modifier key for trim but it gets exhausting if you need to trim a lot. I couldn't imagine doing it now.

keep going. i hope to see more DCS content from you

Keep it coming, my friend. I started with the unarmed P-51 Trainer that came with the package then. Just as catastrophic but not as funny. Then I decided I needed a jet trainer and bought a module. Came with a 25 page manual on just starting the engines. . . That being said, the jets are generally easier. Prop strikes go way down, for starters.

Great to hear the Battlefield 1942 music in the middle of the video!
