Solid, Fastly.Cool and gets the job done. For RV where window-mounted air conditioning is not an option, this works very well. Easy set up, rapid cooling, and great design.
  • I purchased a Predator 3500 Inverter Genarator a few years ago and I have to confess I leave it out side year round, I do perform maintenance, I only use Non-Ethnol gas with Fuel Stabilizer, change oil "full synthetic" at less than 100 hours. I fill with gas after use, it's out in the elements with out cover year round, when I go to start it, it starts right up, heat in winter and A/C in Summer. It's connected to a 2001 Class A Winnebago Horizon. I only start the on board Onan 7500 Kw unit to keep it lubricated. I am looking at remote starter, aluminum cargo carrier and extention exhaust pipe.

You didn't mention the ESC throttle. If you turn that on, it will idle down the generator to match the needed output which makes it run much quieter. Obviously a load like the AC will cause it to throttle back up.
  • We’re first time Rvers and we have been looking for a generator. Your video was perfect straight to the point, not too long. I’m at harbor freight buying the predator and I’ll be saving lots off $$$ thank you.

Those Predator generators are nice units. We had an older one for our TT and loved it. We hate being those people too. We now have an onboard generator but still use a solar panel but we use very little electric. Nice review.

Your wife is AWESOME! She did the right thing! HF Predator Generators kick ass. They are HondaClones* They look like my Honda. They are as quiet as my Honda and I need a bigger more powerful generator sooooooo I am going to HF and scoring a Inverter/Generator that will handle my growing Wattage needs!!! For less than 1/2 the price of the Honda. And what am I giving up? Nada!

I have 2 of these. both had to be returned because the ignition coil failed. One at 100 days and one at 45 days. Spend the $100 + on the extended warranty . One didn't have the warranty so I bought a new coil for It, after starting to disassembling it to replace to coil I discovered that holly cow you have to take everything off / apart , just to get to the coil !! Major job !!!
  • @godsamazing2090

Some advice , get a soft start kit installed to your air conditioner it will help the ac and the generator.
  • @zlinky1113
Just what I was looking for. Thank you : )
  • @MegaSling
4:56 you said you choose the Champion 3500 generator. That's a Predator. Just sayin. Good video though.

Thanks for your video & tips. I have it in a box in the garage. Had to trade in my new 2000W Predator generator for it. We recently upgraded from a popup camper to a travel trailer with a/c. The a/c is something new to us. Black & Gray Water is something new too.
