I wanted to point out something to all. Take notice of all the kindโs of work done and how the machinery is maintained. CLEAN, LUBED REGULARLY, AND STORED WITH SOME THOUGHT IN MIND as to whatโs to come tomorrow. Congrats I really enjoy your posts.

It's awesome to see the progress on the Bealy Mansion! The foundation is looking solid, and I can't wait to see how this project continues to unfold. Great work, as always! :medal-yellow-first-red:

That is a very smart decision Geoff and you made on using the abundance of clean aggregate for the backfill. Rock is high $$$$$'s now but it'll be cheaper than a future water problem needing repair. Well done gentleman.

You do such awesome work, Chris. You take care of your clients so very well. It's a joy to watch you work and see it done so very well. And after seeing the storm's aftermath, the stone did its job. Thanks for sharing.

Having your bucket on backwards is good practice for running the steam Shovel lol ๐๐

Nice set up with that tilt trailer very fast load and unload

โค๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ Amazing work Chris! WOW... Looking sooo great and while Geoff posted his first, yours showed the real work being done! I love seeing the work, it allows me (at 66 years old) to enjoy, vicariously through you, the work that is getting done! I soooo wish I could be there with you in true body and spirit, to work on this project, wow, but you and YouTube allow me to be there, and I thank you!

At least Geoff hasnโt changed his mind lately again about the build,at least least you hope, with that storm slowing him down will give time to think of something, when that happens just save a few loads of rock, and put him deep.great video, you never fail to go above and beyond.be safe.just keep on doing your thing ๐๐๐

Now that's what you call trusting the machine operator! ๐

Nice job.. ๐๐ป does look great when the holes are fullโฆ ๐๐ป๐ช๐ป๐๐ป

Chris thatโs the trailer you need. Mr Donnie is going to be upset that you didnโt have him move it.

Love that slick trailer. Easy on easy off. 200 Tons of gravel that is amazing. There is a trust your excavator operator. Great job as usual Chris. Thanks for the video. Hope you don't get too much rain. But Texas is still waiting for you to send me a rain shower. Stay safe and have a great week.

Ainโt his Maiden voyage running the bucket backwards!

I'm thankful you managed to backfill the new Manson. Geoff is safer from cave in now.

Static pressure on a wall could have been a big problem on filled with just clay, putting aggregate in for drainage and then backfilling with dirt on top is really smart. As I learned watching Letโs Dig 18 videos, Chris is practical and uses good old common sense!

Costly backfill great job Chris I'm sure Geoff will appreciate it thanks

Good to see you go crazy with the rock! In 1991 we built an earth contact home and although they weren't quite unicorns we were very cautious. We sprayed the foundation and stuck 2" foam board all the way around. We used hard pipe with holes as the footer drain and ran clean outs up 8' on the back and two sides just in case and then we put 4' of clean rock all the way around. We tied all the down spouts around to the front and tied them into two separate runs that go out about 200'. The house is almost 100' long and 30' deep with a 10/12 roof. 33 years later and when we have big down pours there are two places out in the front of the house that look like huge water main breaks with the amount of water that flows through the system. I'd say it worked well.

Look out for Ernesto next week Good timing on the backfill

That`s a whole lot of stone to move Chris, smart decision to do all stone.
