How I vacuum my pool with a sand filter

Today I am vacuuming my pool for the second time this season. I use "waste" for a little because my pool is over full from all the rain. I show you step by step how to vacuum and then backwash and rinse your pump.

    Good job! A good tip is to not worry about trying to suck up larger debris. Systematicly suck the smaller bits and you'll find this process will be quicker and less tedious. Any larger debris can be dipped out with your net.👍

    What if you put a hose on the backwash and put the hose into the pool. And at the end of the hose put a sock so it collects the algae and dirt?

    Heres an easier way to get the air out of the hose. Once you connect to vacuum head and put it in the pool, hold the other end on the return so it pumps the water thru the hose. It will push all the air out for you.
