Hi Alexander, I only discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and have already almost worked my way through all of your videos, I just love them! My son wanted to take up detecting so I’ve been going with him. I decided to buy a Deus Lite after watching you and went on my own for the first time on Saturday. Second signal I uncovered a Henry III cut quarter! Absolutely thrilled, I don’t think I’d have done it without watching you, when you watch something enough I’m sure you subconsciously absorb the information and the sounds. I love the HQ segments, so informative, the work you put in to these videos is incredible, you deserve far more subscribers

Hello Alexander, such a nice day for a hunt. You never fail to amaze me with your finds. That Saxon broach is a magnificent find. You are so fortunate to have such wonderful permissions to hunt. I come for the treasures but stay for the history lessons. You do a terrific job telling us about what you find. Thank you… John

if the wheel on a Royal Artillery cap badge goes around it is a commissioned officer's badge, if fixed it is other ranks. Wow what a fab brooch well done you. Flies- well you are the only food in the field.
  • Another excellent video Alexander, still really enjoying the history with the coins and artefacts, looking forward to the next.

Hi Holz, The clothes hooks were instead of buttons. They hooked onto an eye on the other side of the clothing (think cardigan) xx
  • Realy great video again Alex! 4 weekse to ga and our holiday in Engeland starts again. Cant wait to take the deus 2 out to the fields!
  • Feel the same. I love being out in the field by oneself.......x
  • The metal detecting is awesome but the history lessons are what I enjoy the most. Always feel like I learn something new and interesting after watching one of your videos.

Hello Alexander, wonderful video again! We were checking yesterday for your latest thinking it was due any time now, felt it in our bones! Fantastic brooch! Sara was a little disappointed though, you did say you would have a closer look at the Crotal bell later in the video, and as it’s one of her favourite things, she was looking forward to that….consider yourself on the naughty step!! Haha!!

Hi Alexander. Once again, congratulations to you on those amazing finds. That Saxon brooch is a joy to behold! Always a real treat to be out with you, even if it is only 'virtually' 👍 I think your detecting videos are the best ones on here, very informative and fun. Please keep doing them, it's always a pleasure to see them. Hats off to you sir, and thanks for including 'The Hound of the Tascavilles! All the best to you from chilly Oxfordshire 🐶
