I've had the exact same problem with my honda, after two decades the intake pipe teared, fixed it with liquid gasket sealer .

Every time you ring that bell I think of Blazing Saddles... "The sheriff is near!"

He can buy oem parts online from different Honda dealers at reasonable prices which is what I do.

I had a similar frustrating issue with my Ridgeline, especially in hot and humid weather, gosh it was a such a sluggish dawg in mid-summer. 3 shops couldn't figure it out. I ended up (kinda by accident) finding a little hole in a vacuum line, so I wrapped it with electrical tape. Of course, that "surprised" the computer at first, but it adjusted. It ended up solving the sluggish issue, and the tape is still holding several years later.
